Just wanted to say hello and that I'm glad I found this forum. About a month ago I started buying disposable nic salt devices. Tried vaping about 8 years ago and never really got into it, it was much different this time around, I love it! I really liked the Esco Bars by Pastel Cartel, best flavor from any disposable I've tried.

I decided to ditch the disposables and first got a couple Geekvape Wenax K1's for my girlfriend and I, the Cloud Nurdz nic salt has been our favorite by far. The other brands I've tried are all somewhat harsh (all 50mg nic).

Today I got my Geekvape Aegis X Zeus starter kit with a Nitecore D2 charger and two Samsung 20s 18650's. I filled the tank with Pachamama Fuji apple strawberry nectorine 6% e-juice... It is AMAZING!!! I like it just as much, if not more, than the nic salts. Getting what I feel like great rips with the .4 ohm coil at 50 watts. I also got a 120mL of Berry Blast fruit edition by Finest but I haven't tried that one out yet.

If anyone has any recommendations I would gladly listen! This site seems to have a TON of information so I am very grateful for that. Probably going to get a second set of 18650's here pretty soon. Probably should get another tank so I can have a few different flavors available and I will definitely need some more coils as well. :w00t:

Welcome to ECF. Luckily the Z-series coils are starting to drop in price. I think they average about $2 per coil, where many others are closer to $3 per coil. Also likely depends on where you live and where you're purchasing them from. Not a bad first selection!

On the bottom of the atomizer, does it say "Z" or "Zeus" or "2021 Z"?

The bottom of the Zues tank says "Geekvape Z" next to the 510 connector. Is this what you're talking about? Does that mean anything? Thanks.

I haven't looked at the Z coils from my local shop yet, I know they charge $16 for four replacement coils/pods for my Wenax K1. They seem to be a little pricier than online but not having to pay shipping is nice.

I purchased both my Wenax K1's from the local shop but got my Aegis X from element vape online since my shop didn't carry it. Had a good experience with the online order but the shipping took about eight days. At least the shipping was free since I spent over a certain amount.

I would recommend getting a backup unit as well. You never know when your unit will konk out on you, or you drop it from 50 feet at 1 am when all the vape shops are closed.

For now I think I'll just rely on my Wenax K1 pod for a backup. I already have the urge to spend way too much money on several different setups so I'm gonna try and keep myself under control, haha.

Eventually I'll get a nice mod that's smaller than the Aegis X. I'd rather leave the X at home and have a more compact device for when I'm out. First I need to get another set of 18650's so I can always have a charged pair ready to go. Probably another tank too as I like having the option to just switch them so I don't have to mix the juice of I want to change it up.

Yessir! That's the "Z" (Zeus) tank that preceded the 2021 Z tank, Z Max, and their latest P Sub Ohm. All but the Z Max use Z-series coils. The Z isn't bad, but imo, the 2021 Z steps up the flavor a bit, and the P Sub Ohm is their best tank yet. It's also ultra quiet. For flavor, if the Z is an 8, the 2021 Z is a 9, and the P Sub Ohm is a 9.5. The Obelisk also tastes good, but it's a leaker. Wouldn't recommend.

If you put in an order from FastTech, it'll probably take like 2-3 weeks to get to you, but it'll save you some money down the line. FastTech includes the cost of shipping into their prices, as long as you spend over $20. $12.43 for a pack of 5 isn't bad. You can save more if you buy in bulks of 10, 25, or even 50.

Thanks for the advice! I think I might get both a 2021 Z and a P sub ohm. Appreciate the fast tech recommendation as well, I've been on the site before but never ordered from them. I think I'll give them a shot. That's a great price on the coils too.

With 4-6 weeks being more realistic
Sorry, that should have been 3-4 weeks, maybe 3-5. The last order took a few days under a month, and the order before that took 3 weeks from date of order. During the original peak in COVID, that was about the timeframe; 4-5 weeks.

Be mindful of which coil resistances you're buying as well - the prices will likely change a tad bit.
