Wanted to update ...
I've finally(!) received precut wire from fasttech. 1.8 ohms. I like the precut ohm-age. I hate the break in taste. Perhaps if I get a genesis style tank in the future, it'll be a switch to kanthal for me.
I've rebuilt the aspire and protank 2 mini, both, with the 1.8 precut single coil, and they seem to be doing fine. Re-wiring the aspire bdc is a pain so protank 2 mini seems to be my choice of tank at the moment.
Ordered an MVP 2.0 and a Vamo v2.
The Vamo v2 came from fasttech and it had an issue so I am sending it back and they'll be replacing it, BUT since it took 5 weeks for my first one to get here, I ordered an MVP 2.0 from 101vapes. At $43, I don't think I can really complain, especially since so many people like its consistent vape and ease of use, not to mention killer battery life.
