just got here, found this while scrolling sites
It’s a fairly good site for specific needs. It’s very old. It pre-dates the arrival of ecigs in the United States outside of Hollywood film. The term “vaping” was actually coined here. There is emphasis on non-disposable stuff and activism, both pro ecig and anti-cigarette. there is also stuff on how to make vaping cost less (way way less btw) while still maintaining safety and quality, sometimes improving it even. Theres is and was a lot of chasing down and documenting some of the various things the cigarette industry has done to spread FUD and outright lies (they’re still doing it). Other stuff too, I’m just listing stuff the site does better than most others.

good to know, (Hi from Indonesia btw guys) vapes (mods/aio especially) are quite expensive here as our currency is tanking down lol. For me my mod is a m200 this particular full set is around $70 (USD),,, taxes are really high for ecig liquids though at an avg around $11/60ml, which is made up of 60% tax (anything related to ecigs is high tbh), which is why most people here smokes cigs (cheaper ones are only $0.99 for a pack/12pcs), anyways I'm glad to be here, looking forward to expanding my knowledge about ecigs

Taxes are a lot lower over there. Here they're 20 to a pack, but the pack costs $10. I lower costs with DIY (making juice is actually easier than cooking). I did the math once and it was costing me about $6/bottle. bottles of similar size were selling for around $25. A bottle lasts me generally 2-5 days

DIY as in buying PG VG separately and making your own? same I also do it too sometimes, for just $5 I can make 2.6 kgs worth of liquid since it's unregulated and untaxed, imagine how much that saved me money haha (also $10 is very expensive for me as our currency is not rlly good, with below minimum wage part time job and paying tuition fees on my own)

Yep. I did VG only for a long time as it was cheaper and simplified the process. The VG calories caught up with me though. My last was mostly pg. I do single flavorings, again because it’s easier. There are much more complicated recipes too, I just don’t use them. I bought VG in gallon jugs because it is also used as a cattle laxative and thus is carried so in feed stores For cheap. They were more than $10 though, so it may not be viable.

i mean it is cheaper for the most part haha. For me i usually go with pg 30 and vg 70, so when I'm done mixing them, I put the flavoring in the bottle, pour the liquid and use the rest for later, so I've tasted quite many flavors actually, and as a matcha enjoyer I love the matcha flavor with 3-6mg of nic (9 is way too high for me)

I used to vape 20. The last bottle I made was 2.25. I‘m trying to get off nicotine, but there’s a reason it’s referred to as one of the most addictive drugs that exists. So I’m titrating down slowly. The hardest move so far was 3.0 to 2.75. I had to do 2 100ml bottles of that. 2.75 to 2.5 wasn’t too bad though. I initially went 20 to 15. The lower I get the smaller the jump. Lately it’s .25ml which is the smallest amount I can reliably measure without mixing a lower molarity base. When I get to zero nic I’ll start titrating flavoring.

Oh that's actually interesting maybe I'll try to do 0 nic next batch yeah, wonder how it'll taste, for me nicotine has little to no effect on me, so I never really got to that point, maybe I'll try 0mg next bottle, it's very hard to find a 0mg premixed here (store kept ones) since its on really low demand, so I never really tried it before

You probably won’t like it if you do nic. I was looking for matcha flavor and the best I could find is FE green tea. Not sure what defines matcha vs other kinds of green tea.

TLDNR: nicotine
Nicotine is a major anti-anxiety and the fastest acting one. It’s why I started vaping. At the time there were no non addictive anti anxieties so figured ”what the heck?” Now there are though so I’m getting off it.

in indonesia, we have a lot of flavoring (and I mean a ....load), so my favorite's by far the Lunar Japanse Ice Cream (for premixed taxed ones), people call it Lunar Matcha here, it's very good, also green tea is very different from matcha, as green tea is closer to oolong tea i think. I usually make my own flavors though

What I understand is that both are green tea, but matcha is a suspension rather than an infusion. Rather than soaking chopped up or whole tea leaves in water then removing them, one grinds them to powder and then mixes them directly. The difficulty with flavorings is that any oil is an absolute no-no. This makes a lot of flavors impossible. Butterfinger can’t really be done without diacetyl, cinnamon red hot can’t be done without cinnamon oil, etc..

haha, i've done so much rnd (even some very shady and most likely will not pass regulations), most turned out sucked and i had to change coil so many times because of it (sometimes even the RDA). but once I get the perfect recipe I usually go along that path. (also I made it secretly using materials from an e-liquid manufacturer inside their own factory, since i work there)
