burning your lip? as in the drip tip is too hot? don't use a metal drip tip... or as in juice spurting up and hitting your lip and tongue? Lower the power levels also be careful not to flood an rda or tank
I'm assuming you are using a tank that came with it, can you tell us which one?
try gently blowing throw the 510 (put a napkin on the mouthpiece) to help get rid of excess juice.
what power setting do you have it set at? What ohm is the coil you are using?
more than likely just need to lower the power settings

The solo is the power device, what delivery device ( tank, topper ) are you using?

If you bought it as the 'solo kit' it comes with the cerberus tank.
When it asked you if it was a new coil did you press yes?

Did you thoroughly prime the atomizer coil head by dripping drops of e liquid onto all exposed wicking material until fully saturated before using?

How do you have the airflow adjusted?
What power level are you using?
Are you using a smooth steady light inhale ( Mtl) or a rapid hard inhale (Dtl)?

Pg / Vg ratio of the liquid you're using?

bought the ZENITH tank and coils separate..... and yes , was instructed to prime the coil, and did so....my problem is, burning my lips …. and no draw.....bit doppy on the settings have the power at 10....not sure what or where I deal with the air flow.... is it where I put in the liquid ???

The airflow control is at the bottom, twist the ring on the bottom to open, I'd suggest starting with 3 holes open/showing.
If you like more airflow open to 4 or 5 holes.
When you twist the airflow ring you'll see holes appear in the slot at the very base of the tank.

The zenith should've come with a little blue paper instruction/owner manual.

A zenith burning your lips is extremely rare, I imagine you've burned the head to get the drip tip hot enough to even notice heat.
After you figure out the airflow control give it a try, if it tastes all funky & burnt, prime a new head & try again.

I have a Zenith; using the 1.6 ohm coils I run it at 8 watts with two holes open. Personally I found the original drip tip too small and put my lips too close to the attie, I changed the drip tip to a longer one with a wider body but the same bore and it now works for me. Others may think differently of course...

Hi Bertie P and welcome to ECF! :)

Out of curiosity .. when you primed your coil did you wait a good 5-10 minutes?

Did you thoroughly prime the atomizer coil head by dripping drops of e liquid onto all exposed wicking material until fully saturated before using?
As Topwater Elvis asked? ^^^^^^ should be visibly saturated.

I'm probably in agreement about the airflow. I find my Zeniths work best wide open, regardless of wattage actually. These are monster coils in there, I really sort of think (for me) the air flow has to be wide open.

The fact that the drip tip is fairly close to the atomizer is true. I have felt heat (probably not burnt my lip) on occasion if I accidentally chain vape it. It that winds up being the case for you, you could try a longer drip tip.

bought a new aegis solo.... burning my lips and not much of a draw.....not sure how to work settings or what is best settings for a new user.....any help with an idiots guide for a techno fobe ?
Welcome and glad you joined.
Might consider getting a longer drip tip and dropping the watts downward to where you just start to see a faint vape cloud. Once achieved, then step up wattage until you detect the ideal taste and cloud combination.
