Hi Guys,
I'm from the UK and joined UKVAPERS but it closed down after a couple of days? Weird!

Anyway, I need to ask for some big help please:

I purchased my first kit about a month ago. It is the PRO4 kit from here, which cost £65.

E-Pro 4: The Ultimate Electronic Cigarette Kit

Now the problems...

As I am totally new to this, I didn't really do any research and just bought the 'e-lites' best kit not knowing about any other system at all.

I now have the problem of being locked into buying the cartomizers from then at £20 a time

So after I looked around I found a shop called Liberty Flights in the UK and they sold me some BOGE 501 cartomizers and some refill fluid.

When they arrived in the post the thread for the cartomizer was different and as such did not screw into the battery at all. I'm now stuck as to where I can get after-market cartomizers for the e-lites kit without going direct to E-Lites themselves... If I had known this when forking out £65 I would never have bothered, but I didn't know any different.

The thing is I have searched all over the place to find compatible cartomizers, but I'm having no luck :-x

Here are some pictures to show my original supplied cartomizer (original look) next to the BOGE 501 (Steel coloured) 2.7 ohm.

The thread are more course on my one and the 501 seems to have finer threads.

I've read that there are some kind of conversion adapters available, but I don;t know where to buy these from. I also think that it might either be a RN4081 or DSE301 connection? Although I'm not totally sure?

Please help

Thanks in advance and much appreciated!!!

PS I'm based in the UK.

Your original one looks like a RN4081 and the other one a Boge 510. Not sure in the UK, but here you can get 4081-510 adaptor. Meaning that you can use your RN4081 battery with your 510 carto. I have one the other way around too, but can't remember where I bought it from. They are available somewhere....

Maybe someone else will come along and help you.

You can get RN4081 cartomizers here at Vapor God and with your order you can choose a free sample bottle of eliquid. I got Chocolate Hazelnut. AWESOME!!!

Hey Dragonbone :)

Yes, I think that you're right; they are RN4081 battereis.

Question is how can I get the adapter for it to change it to 501 please? Here in the UK it is very difficult to find them. I have checked at least ten different sites and no one has them or even the cartomizers with the 4081 fitting? :(((

Do you think that Vapor God would ship to the UK?

Although the 4081 to 501 converter/adapter would be PERFECT :)

PS Thanks for your reply by the way x

Yes, they do ship international! I am in Tokyo. I was in a similar situation as you just a few weeks ago, because I wanted to give my old RN4081 kit some some old guy I know, so I bought the cartomizers from them (because my original kit had the old atomizers). Funnily enough all three batteries died (they were three years old) so now I am using the cartomizer with an adaptor on my 510 device. GREAT cartos!!

Their juices are fantastic and I just placed a new order from them a few days ago :).

Hey,
Thanks for all of your help and of course the links. I've just purchased the 4081 to 510 converter and also two 4081 catromizers. When they arrive I'll test them out and if ok, I'll order another converter as I have two batteries and also a load of catromizers - both 4081 and 510s to see which I think are the most suitable for me.

Again, thanks for all of your help! I really appreciate it!

Cheers x

Just a little update: The RN4081 carts came from MadVapes along with the 4081 to 501 converter and I can positively say that none of them fit the e-lites battery. Big love for MadVapes for their great service from USA to UK (even though it didn't work out for me).

So basically I think that E-Lites have created a proprietary battery for their 'e-tips' to lock people into buying their products alone.

I used the e-tips that I received with the Pro4 kit and refilled them twice each before I could taste the burn, which I didn't mind doing as the tips were very expensive and brought the overall cost down per e-tip/cartomizer packet.

So anyway, I decided to order another set of e-tips (x5) from E-Lites for £22 delivered. Only to find out that they have now super glued the ends on and there's now no chance of refilling them at all now. Pretty pathetic to be fair. To top it off one e-tip lasts about half a day  So much for approx 40 ciggs per e-tip. I smoked around 6 Silk Cut per day at the most. How they are getting away with this is beyond me.

I'm now looking to completely move away from E-Lites and many of my friends will now be doing the same after I've been educating them on my limited noob knowledge about how much we are being ripped off.

On the other hand, I will say that to start off with E-Lites were good as they introduced me to the whole e-cig thing. But please don't spend £65 on their best kit like I did only to be locked into buying £20 + Delivery for their 'e-tips' which last the best part of half a day.

You're probably better off buying their cheapest kit and seeing if you get on with it and if so, then buy a kit which you can fill etc...

So anyway, now I'm on the look out for another kit, which must have an automatic battery and have a cartomiser system.

Any ideas??

Thanks

Oh Dibbles, so sorry to hear! So OK, you need an KR808D! Don't give up on your RN4081 cartos though.. They can still be used.
Two places for 808's international shipping are Health Cabin and Smokeless Image. I have bought 808's from both places. Unfortunately Health Cabin is out of stock at the moment. They are the cheapest. they will get them in again.

Please tell me how I can assist you! I feel so bad now. Can you take some pics again? What do you mean 501? Don't you mean 510?
Oh and save your new RN4081 cartos. They can still be used... I just need to understand what you all have now. What cartos and what batteries and what adaptors.

Hey,
Sorry for the really late reply, haven't been on the Internet for ages.

I'm still looking to buy a kit, and I'm thinking definitely the 510 threaded tank route now.

Do you have any suggestions?

I was thinking of either of these:

510 TITAN 'TANK' E-NIC Electronic Cigarette Kit - White

Or

Microlite Cartomiser Kit - Black

:) xx

Hi Dibbles, why do you want to go the 510 route for the minis? 808 automatic batteries are better in the mini size. You can still use 510 cartos with them,(if you want to) using an adaptor. Do you specifically want the slim type? If not specifically, then there is the option of the 650 mAh ego batteries, or even the small 350 mAh eGo's. eGos battereis are 510/eGo threaded. Meaning you can use any 510 carto and any eGo carto.

The slim ones are 808's (1 has an adaptor with a 510 carto) and the engraved ones are 650 mAh eGo batteries.

In this pic the small battery on the far right is the Mini ego 350 mAh

Hope this helps. Ask any questions. I just showed you these pics, so that you can get an idea of how versatile they can be :).

WOW! You have a massive assortment! :D The reason behind having a 510 cart is because I would like them to small and to replicate the feeling of having a real cigarette. I'm looking at these models:

510 TITAN 'TANK' E-NIC Electronic Cigarette Kit - White

Microlite Cartomiser Kit - Black

Could you possibly provide me with some advice on which one would be more suited to me please? I would like to have a refillable type so that I can choose my own types of e-liquid and also I'd like to have an automatic battery one.

Thanks in advance! x

Hi dibbles00,
I have recently got the e-lites and have refilled the carts, if you get the the ones that have been glued - run a sharp knife around the cap you can get the cap out, its hard and I've ruined one but it's worth trying.

I am also looking to buy empty carts that fit the batteries so would be grateful if you could let me know if you find some that i can get in the UK. The e lites batteries last me 1 day with a full charge, I now have 3 batteries and alway carry a fully charged one with me as back up.

I've bought e liquid from Decadent Vapours, they sell online but are in Swansea, they only charge £1 for postage my order arrived in 2 days.

Thanks.
