Hi newbie joining the world of vaping

I have been lurking here and vaping for about 4 weeks now and absolutely love it. Wish I would have found vaping world lot sooner. This forum is a godsend as I had absolutely no idea how many different kind of devices are out there. I started with a crappy non brand cigarette looking device from the local smoke shop. Loved the vaping and the flavors but hated the ultra short battery life. It also seemed to be very expensive as them prefilled cartos did not last long at all. SOOOO happy I found this forum and started doing research. Now I have my ego t and I love how easy it is to use and the battery life is fabulous. Past week tried to cut down to 6 mg juice and found myself smoking analog again... hated it and decided to stay with 12 mg or 24 mg for the mornings. I really really dont want to go back to analogs as they taste sooo nasty and make me feel very crappy. Vaping feels and tastes so much better in every level.

Thanks again for this great forum and all the information here. It all really makes a huge difference and has been more helpful to me than words can say.

I started smoking when I was 17 and can definitely understand where you're coming from. I did refuse to put down my pipe so I'm still in for tobacco but these little devices helped me kick cigarettes to the curb and my singing voice has never been better. From another newcomer welcome to the forums.

Great, isn't it Moggy? I would go as far to say that vaping has been life changing for me, after 15 years of smoking. I haven't touched a ciggie in over 5 months, despite not being able to go a day without one before. Welcome to the forum!

Welcome Ya'll! You can tell by my signature how long I have been vaping. (And the amount of analogs.) Once or twice I have left the house without my ego. At first there is the panic, and then it's ok. I wasn't gone very long, but just the same there wasn't the same feeling I had when I left my smokes at home. And I would go back for my smokes. One time when I left my ego home I even went home the long way! Only because I had picked my truck up from the shop and wanted to check it out!! Running great by the way!! Ya'll keep up the vaping!!

Welcome to ECF, and congrats! Yeah, you definitely need to find your personal nic level. I started at 18mg and while it pretty much worked it was never fully satisfying for me. Once I bumped it up to 24mg everything was just perfect. I'm thinking of getting some 18mg for before bed though. I can always bump up the voltage to get the throat hit I need.

But you're right. Once you get a proper PV and good juice, you'll never even want to look at another paper stick.
