Mini Protank II is an excellent choice, but it costs a little more than a Kanger T3S, and I personally found the T3S to provide a lot more flavor than the Mini Protank II. But the Mini PT II is a good choice if you know you're going to use "tank cracker" e-liquids like cinnamon redhot, citrus and some other fruits -- the mini PT II is glass, which is maybe why it costs a little more than a T3S.

I don't recommend the dual (not "duel" -- a duel is when 2 people shoot at each other from 50 paces!) coils, unless you really like to blister your lips; ditto that for the top-coils like the iClear16. Super hot vapes from both top-coils and dual coils, and many e-juices can't take that kind of heat, and just taste nasty in that kind of clearomizer. Dual coils are usually identified by the "BDC" label, but "BCC" just means "bottom-coil clearomizer," a MUCH better choice.

HEY! i live in Maryland too!

guess i will get the protank since there's many good reviews about it. is it compatible with VV?

Pretty much everything is compatible with vv/vw so no worries there. I would buy the Protank Mini II over the 3 personally. Make sure that you have extra coils, you will need more than one for sure at I would suggest at least keeping 3 in stock. You can buy both at Sun Vapers Glassomizers Archives - Sun-Vapers.com

They are the cheapest coils I have found and they are authentic ones. My best suggestion is to use one coil per day and then soak it in Vodka/Everclear for a few hours and let it dry over-night while you use a new one. You will get a lot of life out of a coil by over-maintaining it and without doing anything more than this, I get 2-3 months out of a coil.

I have tried the ET and it leaks a third of the way down and the T3, Aerotank/dual coils stuff never worked well for me.

Thank you so much for your advice. I didn't expect there are so many types of vapes and along with all other tank
how long can it last usually?

The real trick is to understand that flavors of juice, the batteries/mods and the toppers that are used are all subjective. What one likes may not really be what someone else likes. The more of these items you can try, even if it is a little at a time; the better. Then you can see what really fits your priorities and needs. Fortunately, a lot of this stuff is cheap and then if/when you decide to move up to something more advanced; you will know what you like and what you don't before making a bigger purchase.

The components of your tank (glass, metal, etc) should last you a long time. Just screw and unscrew your topper on upside down. This will stop the accidental unscrewing of the tank base and spilling juice on yourself and if you use gravity to assist; will help with threads stripping.

The coils depend on the juice you choose. Some darker and sweeter ones will kill a coil pretty quickly. Lighter ones will take a little longer. Some are dead on arrival unfortunately; just poor QC but honestly; I haven't had one in over 6 months. If you follow the vodka soak method, it will help a lot and requires very little time. Other methods to clean/revive a coil has proven to be a lot of time spent or a waste of it in my opinion. Some people like/suggest "dry burning" a coil but usually, you do this when it is far too late or you over-do it and wreck your coil or under-do it and really do nothing. Plus, by the time you "dry burn' the coil is on it's last leg anyway.

Doing the vodka soak, each day is over-maintenance and should keep the coils clean-er

I've moved on from clearos, but the ones I liked that are in line size wise with the iTaste VVv3 are:

Mini Protank II (glass)
Aspire ET-S (glass, dual coil)
Innokin iClear 16b (plastic, dual coil)

I always recommend glass over plastic, as some e-liquids have been known to react with plastic. Mainly e-liquids that contain citrus and cinnamon. With glass, you don't need to be concerned with this. The Mini Protank is the most expensive of those I listed, but the coils are the cheapest and you can get replacement glass for it if the glass breaks. The Aspire is most likely to survive a fall though, as the glass is housed in metal.

Another option is cartotanks. The 15mm cartotank over at IBTanked is the size you'll want for an iTaste VVv3. They are glass tanks with metal end caps that you insert a cartomizer with holes punched in them. I found this provides better taste then clearos over all, and the cartos tend to last longer then coils do. The tank continually feeds the cartomizer with liquid through the holes that are punched in them. There's a slightly bigger learning curve to priming a carto and filling the tank, but there are several youtube videos on it. While it may take longer to initially set up a cartotank, once it's set up I believe that overall there is less maintenance since the cartos last longer. Less leaking as well. Cartos die a slow death in a tank, so you'll rarely be stuck with a surprise dead carto while out and about. You get plenty of warning via taste before the carto dies. You can also get a custom paint job over at IBTanked, and they have a handy "Complete Tank" section that will walk you through buying everything you need for a cartotank.

Mini Protank 3 is great. EVODS look great, too, and are very inexpensive and come in a variety of colors. You can get glass lined EVODS, too. I like the way they both look on top of the Itaste vv.

I am not a big fan of "over cleaning" my coils. I rinse them in hot water before I use them and then I just keep one juice in each clearo. IMHO, the coils are so cheap, they aren't worth stressing over and they last ME a long time. If you save them when they go bad, later on you can learn to rebuild them, if you so desire.

I am a big fan of "fiddle-free;" I don't like to work too hard for my vape.
