I got my first kit on September 16th, 2013 and have been analog free since then! (My family is sooo happy and so am I.) That kit came with 2 Joytech Ego C-Twist batteries and 2 Evod tanks. I quickly upgraded to Kanger Pro-tank 2. I was so tired of refilling all day long. Well, that satisfied me for awhile.

I decided to upgrade again. I wanted longer battery life and was burning through wicks or heads (I always call them wicks not sure what to use here) in a day. It was getting old fast. I settled on a KeCig K100+ with a metal Vivi Nova tank and metal tip. I'm loving the new battery life! The Vivi Nova proves to have some adjusting period for me. I definitely like the flavor with this new set up, but I seem to have issues priming the tank. I tend to get a slight burnt flavor even after doing some priming puffs and letting it sit for an hour. Does anyone have some advice?

I'm using 18650 3.7V batteries and 1.8ohms wicks.

I use from a 2.4 - 2.8 wick on my Vision Vivi Nova's and almost never get a burnt taste. Give it a try, likely be a cheap fix...

the higher ohm coils wont burn as hot on your current setting and will extend the power/life of your batterys charge as well

The 2.4-2.8 range is great. I was using 1.8 coils and burning through them (and batteries) like crazy. I talked to the local B&M salesperson and he turned me on the the higher resistance coils in my EVOD. Works great. I keep it topped off and haven't had a burnt coil in quite some time.

Here is my current setup. I'm off to my local B&M to get 2.4ohm wicks and possibly another Vivi Nova. I think I'm done with the Pro tank 2s. (I'll save them for back ups)
