I've been token along on my itaste 134 for 5 months happily. My favorite tank ever has been the kanger aero, tho I've had to super glue and re super glue 3 of these tanks on the 134 from them splitting apart at the air flow adjustment when the 134 hits the floor (I specifically bought the 134 for its durability as I've crushed alot of other batteries with my new prosthetic leg, no big deal). Then i tried an Aspire Atlantis 2 and loved it!! Finally ordered one last week and learned when I picked it up yesterday that it's not compatible with the 134. Huge goof on my part. Ok so my question is about what to buy to use the atlantis? I'm blown away by reading for 2 days now. I see there's a matching battery for this tank but I think it's ugly. (As tho the 134 is a crown jewel) I want to stick with a round, tubular setup instead of a box battery deal. But then looking up prices I'm seeing all these deals on clones and opposing articles on the hazards of clones. I'm not looking to cheap out but I'm pretty limited now since a truck ran a stop sign and hit the motorcycle I was on and took my leg last summer, times are tight. Are all of these cool to look at yet cheap clones ok, or just that: cheap? I'm pretty confused after reading too much online, are all the options only batteries that I have to use a 510/USB plug to charge? I've gotten pretty used to my duel charger and removable 134 ' s batteries to keep one on the charger and one toking. Um, is there any modification that can be done to this full size itaste 134 to make it handle the Atlantis tank, it took me months to save up for it and putting it away will really suck. Hi Laurie! and Welcome! for the Atlantis 2, it will depend to an extent what coil you are planning to use (there is a .3 ohm, a .5 ohm and 1.0 ohm) - for the .3 ohm coil, a minimum of 50watts is recommended, I believe (so, you could use somewhat lower wattage with the .5ohm and 1.0 ohm coils)... in regards to a specific device, tougher call - I am not sure you will find many tube style regulated mods in the 50+ watt range (there are some, I am sure, just not familiar with them)... my personal recommendation would be to look at something like a Smok M80 (built in battery, pass through USB charging, capable of up to 80 watts, fairly well built - only real flaw with this device is that the supposed Temp Control feature is bunk - but not really an issue using any of those coils on that tank... have seen them for $50 or less recently online through a couple of reputable vendors) or possibly a Sigelei 100w+ (will require two pairs of matched batteries to rotate, as it is a dual box mod, good build, bit bigger form factor than the Smok) - I suggest these because I have both and have had reliable performance from both... others will weigh in with other suggestions - take a look at pros and cons, do a little research, see what works for you... one positive with either the Smok M80 or Sig 100w+ is that you will not really have a need to upgrade from there wattage-wise until the release the flux capacitor subtank - should be good to go for a while with either - hope this helps some 
Hi, and welcome to the board. You're going to need a minimum of 20 watts to fire your Atlantis; 30 would be better and on up to 50ish. You can fire the tank at less than 20 watts, but Aspire recommends that as the minimum and the vape will get thin under that value. If you insist on a round mod, and you like your 134, the iTaste SVD 2.0 from the same manufacturer will just barely fire it. It's a 20 watt mod which will fire coils down to .5 ohms, which is the value of the coil in the Atlantis. It also uses the round replaceable batteries, 18350s or 18650s. You could try that, if you like. It's the only round VW mod I know of that can do it. Mechanicals are an option. Half an ohm is within the safe operating range of a mech mod with a 20 amp or better battery in it. They are also (the clones) considerably cheaper than a regulated mod. You can buy a Nemesis clone from Fasttech for $17.00, free shipping. Most of the other good options are not round tubes. The iStick 30 and 50 watt models are reasonably priced, and both will fire your tank. These are not round (the 30 is round-ish... sort of) and they are not replaceable battery. I recommend the iTaste 30 and 50 watt non-replaceable battery models, the MVP 3.0 and 3.0 Pro, over the iSticks. They are a few bucks more than the iSticks. Aside from that, the other replaceable battery mods are all box mods that I know of. If you want to break down and go that route, we can talk more about what you want to do.
You could try this set up it works for me----It is the aspire cf mod that uses 18650 batteries and will fire down to .3 has a low battery color to the switch

That is a great mod and a great choice if someone wants to stay away from box mods.
Thanks to all!! I'm going to look into it all as suggested and make a choice by tuesday. Unfortunately I'm up in the mountains in northern Colorado now, unlike Spokane where I just left, where there were tons of stores for hands on feel of the selections. Worse yet, e ciggy store wize, I'm moving to a Gulf Coast state. I've been really spoiled by the stores in Spokane who have such an array on hand to let the consumer try out first....anyway, thanks again for the recommendations!
