finally making it official. been on a while as a guest and vaping a couple years but have more and more questions as time goes on so wanted to join officially so hello and happy vaping. oh yeah by the way dont buy a mod off craigslist ( i did and got ripped off recently trying to take my first step into squonking) now school shoppi ng time is starting so that eighty bucks i just lost is all the vape budget for a bit. just beware

it was supposed to be a geyscano squonk box coming from erie pa
the guy sounded pretty honest even talked on the phone with him and he sent a pic. told me he just got custody of his kids and had to part with it to get stuff together for his sons. he sent me a tracking number and when i saw it left on postal site i sent the money order to his po box because he asked with the reason that he had to drive halfway to iowa and needed the money for gas to meet the children. i got an empty box with a half bottle of some vape24hour brand( never heard of it). i called him and he said his brother mailed it for him and must have kept it. that was a week ago now the phone is disconnected. i should have known better but im a parent too and he really sounded like a caring dad in a tight spot. i had even sold my go to box (ipv mini 70) to get this from him so now im vaping on a older coolfire i forgot i even had and it is really not working well its just beat up. but with school for my own kids starting soon im just stuck

That sucks. There are too many dishonest people around now to trust anyone. I only use craigslist for face to face deals, and go armed unless I'm meeting them in a safe place. I've had 6 guys jump out of a van and try to rob me over a couple grand for a car parts deal before. I'm a big, ex MMA fighter though, so it didn't turn out like they expected...
Oh I just love stories like that! Not the OP's of course, that was quite rude. I mean the ones where bad guys get their .... handed to em in a paper bag. Can't get enough of those stories. Especially home invasion baddies getting the tables turned on em. Home surgery by doctors smith and Wesson.
I used Mr Benchmade for that encounter. That one is why Mr Ruger started coming along for the ride. When someone can look down the barrel and see that .45 caliber hollow point, and it's 5 buddies in the cylinder, they tend to defecate in their pants.
I never trust Craigslist or Ebay. You can get some really messed up stuff on there from unscrupulous people trying to make a fast buck.
well all i can say is i really hope he needed it. my kids wont go without but i really wish i hadnt got rid of my only dependable box
Hi and welcome to the board. I'm sorry your purchase experience turned out so poorly. Now that you're here, though, do get verified and have a look at the Classifieds page. Honest sellers there-- I have yet to have a bad experience-- and there were some squonkers last time I looked
