So, I'm a former cig smoker (around 20 years) and a former pipe smoker (around 7 years). I took to vaping mainly as I don't cough the morning after.

I've been doing it around 3-4 years now and mainly use an eleaf iStick power and a couple of Aspire Skystar's. Love Tobacco juice, not much else. Favourite is RY4.

Well, look forward to saying hello and being part of the forum.

Hello @yorkslad , Welcome to the friendly bunch :)

Very good to hear that you've quit the death sticks. Often the long term smoker tells himself that if he moves too a pipe it'll be more healthy but just not the case.

I'm guessing that you're a yorkshire lad? Just a thought....if you go to your profile you can put in your location which then helps if you ask a specific question about where to buy or similar :)

I'm english but have lived in France for the last 10 years :)

Thanks very much for your nice welcomes everyone. Look forward to reading more from you all :)

@charlie1465 from Yorks but live in Lancs now. I was always aware of the risks of pipe smoking, but didn't cough anywhere near as much as I did a roll up smoker. What i loved most was looking after my pipes and gear. I get that, now, with eCig gear :)

@SP013 There's a shop near to me (Liberty Flights), which does its own version (RRYY44). It's nice, but not RY4 as I know it?! I've had some good advice and am going to start cooking my own, see how it goes.

Cool :)

I am making a very simple but nice recipe.
5% RY4 double TPA
2% Vanilla custard v2 Capella

Let it steep for at least 3 weeks, gets better each day!!!

Thanks for that, sounds good! I'd already had RY4 double recommended, so it was on my shopping list. I'll add the Vanilla Custard and give your recipe a go when I order my DIY kit later in the week.

Also get yourself a scale that can measure milligrams, much easier to DIY by weight than by Volume.

Ru4 double is nice, but I prefer hangsen, and you get your choice of ry1, 2, 3, or 4.
TFA vanilla swirl and sweet cream work well with either HS or TFA RY though.
Cap vanilla custard is good to though.
