I have been reading these forums for months and just signed up. I've learned so much...the amount information here is incredible!

I tried ecigs about 4 years ago, but couldn't stick with it. batteries didn't last long and too hard a draw for not a good enough payoff...

I found a box with all my old ecig stuff and then looked into it again to see what was new and wow...has vaping changed since then!! I'm happy to say that it has been a month today that I've completely made the switch. Still fiddling and buying (and coveting) some new things to find the best experience for me, but my experience this time has been world's apart.

Hopefully, I'll be able to contribute to these forums with info and experience as so many others are doing....

"when I first started vaping, I had to walk up hill both ways to get to the computer to order stuff"

Hysterical!!! I already feel like that...especially when I go to local B&Ms and see these young people into it....most of them never even smoked. (Good for them)

I was 14 when I started smoking...and..well...I don't even want to do the math to figure out how long ago that really was...lol...

P.S. - Born and raised in Bmore - on the west coast now...

If your old rig had cartomizers in it, dont chuck them you can re-use them in tank type systems. Ditto for 510 chargers being useful for EGO type batteries.

Even if you never ever use the old stuff, you can PIF some of it out to deserving people. There is at least one service that specializes in getting vape gear to Veterans and active duty military personell.

I will keep it all for when guests come over (my friends tend to only "smoke" when they are around me, go figure)...but that is great to know that there is a place to donate. I will definitely do that, but I think I would buy new to donate. I don't know how much life is left in my old stuff. A few only hold a charge for about 1/2 an hour...some work longer...

But I will be sure to donate something soon...that's a great thing!
