I started out with a 306 style Mini Fogger, upgraded to a 10440 powered PV, and just yesterday got my first 18650 powered PV. The difference between all three of these devices is night and day from one another, not only in battery life, but overall performance at the exact same voltage.
The 306 battery (150 mAh) seemed to do good for the first 15 minutes, then seemed to quickly taper off from there. The 10440 (360 mAh) seemed to do good for the first 90 minutes, then slowly tapered off from there. As for the 18650, I have no idea how long this battery will last. It's 2600 mAh, and it's been in use for at least 8 hours of fairly heavy use. It is still providing just as good of performance as it did when it was freshly charged.
I'm not entirely sure why I would even need to go to 6V, I have that option, but I'm just not feeling the need to power the PV with 6V at all.
