So, I'm stocking up on batteries. I am wondering what the advantages are (if any) of using one over the other. I am being super, super, super cautious having lost a saber for whatever reason already. I want to make sure the batteries I'm getting will power the saber appropriately and be less risky in terms of damaging the unit.

and I hear 18350 OR 16340 batteries are both okay? BTW, it's a 5 volt HP.

Either way is good. High drain can put out more amps. But, they are safe since they have different chemistry in them.
But, I'm going to be making an announcement towards the end of the week about the upgrade I'm making to the Saber's circuitry.
Too many people out there are using Non protected batts when they use mods... so I'm going to be taking that risk away with the upgrade!

Oh, and I would get the 18350's... they fit just fine and you have more vape time between charges!
