I definitely have a problem.

I'll echo what Strike said. I love the simplicity and beauty of my mechanicals. I love not relying on electronics and I admire and appreciate switch and top cap designs for devices that I can take apart and clean that work when I need them to.

Just got an XXIX mod from a trade. It needs some polishing tho, and this is my first copper mod.

Any recommendations on what I need to clean up the contacts and inner tube? (I actually like the look, but the inner tube is dirty)

I've tried a lot of different polish and mothers mag and aluminum polish with chrome and metal micro fiber cloths is absolutely the best, you'll be amazed, about 15$ for both at autozone.

For the BCV mods, they use and recommend blue magic. That finish that they come with...my god its amazing. So I asked them what they use and this is what I was told..

Just got a tub of blue magic 500 the other day on amazon pretty cheap and its amazing. STINKS though holy .......but it works GREAT. Love that "silicon layer" it leaves. The copper will start to slowly patina under it and its just perfect

Hmm, that sucks to hear. I'm not interested in flipping it; I just love the look and the wicked switch locking mechanism. However, if the engravings are cheaply done on the current versions, I may have to rethink things...and get a Revolver I wait till I see some comparison shots. Thanks for the heads up!
