Shoot, who are you kidding, GUS is highend.

The Lord and Kiss are fantastic mods, elegant design, fantastic button. Keep them clean and they are solid performers. I have both and a plain tele that I use as a pocket mod.

I haven't had a Gus mod for a while, but I used to have one with the collapsible spring instead of a solid center post before they moved to fuses. I swapped it out with a GP Telescopic Centre Post version 2.5 and was very happy with it. I believe that the center post threading in the top cap is still the same (and I'm sure that Qorax can confirm it). Unfortunately, Domo Vapor Company doesn't have them in stock any more (and I doubt that they will restock it) and shipping might be cost prohibitive to order it from Vapourart or another overseas reseller, but I think it might be a nice alternative for you.

The dark mod the vapor giant is on is sweet evengy, they all are I should say, but that one is my fav.

I have several of the 2.5 pins. I use them for my Caravelas those interchangeable solids pins suck worse than the Gus fuse
