That's what I did...then sold the Paps. I just didn't like the button and don't prefer locking rings. I like that I don't have to lock my Nemesis when I put it down. I may go for the new 2.5 Lux if they don't stop making them too soon.

I really like the Nemesis, and picked up a SS 2.5 GP couple weeks back. LOVE the button. Now figuring out what I want to do for the 18500 tube. Like I can grab one from their site, but the sipping cost would be like half the cost of the tube...

That's the reason I didn't hang onto the Paps and just get a 2.5 button...the shipping costs. I like Atmistique because they offer a cheaper shipping option. I don't mind waiting 7 days.

Haha...he is torn about it too. We just can't help him decide.

I know he is! Me thinks you would love the LUX 2.5 as the button has been updated, stands on its own, threads calibrated, contacts are plated gold and the body is alubrass and the brushed ss is beautuful. My drop is 1/3 of the Caravella and less than the Nemesis.
I would have kept the Nemesis but I couldnt stand the finish, dirty, or the seams or the visible thread connection from the outside. I am a bit OCD when it comes to finishes. You can always tell a well machined mechanical or hybrid if the inside tube finish is the same as the outside.

This is my desk right now...14 going at the moment. I'm testing out some new flavors. This is addiction.

I think we both suffer from same the "If one is good two is better" mind set... This pic was taken before my 2nd PAPS LUX showed up...

I agree about the Lux...it's beautiful.

I also agree about the seams on the Nemesis...but I use the Kick ring to break up the seams and it looks great. I hope at some point they'll offer various tubes for the battery sizes like the Paps and Poldiac...but I doubt they will since they are coming out with a telescopic Nemesis.

I'll 2nd this... Using the same battery and same atty, the drop is less on my LUX than it is on my P+. I didn't think that was even possible.
As for the Nemesis... If I could put my hands on a Celeste edition, I'd be all over it.

How are you keeping your lux so shiny? Mine is covered with patina. Will brasso get rid of it? Also, what do you use to get any scuffs and scratch off. My wife decided to use it with her rings on and cause some scratches.

Love the patina, don't get rid of it.

I'm not. That pic was taken within a day or two of getting it. That said, I bough the 18500 & 18650 brass tubes from Ghost Modder, which showed up yesterday... They already have a darker patina than the alu-bronze tube.
Being that I prefer a weathered/aged look, over bright and shiny, I've actually been slightly disappointed with how slowly it's getting a patina. I've yet to clean it... Aside from wiping juice off of it...

The original LavaTube was my weapon of choice for close to a year. The poor thing is beat to hell. It still works (more than I can say for the Z-Max which went .... up after 3 months). I still think that, for it's day, was the best "bang for the buck" pv around.
Agreed...I still credit the LavaTube for finally getting me off cigarettes...cause those eGos just couldn't do it.

I started with the V2 then the eGos then the LavaTube. In all honesty, the V2 had me sold... I was done w/ analogs within the 1st week.
It was the battery life of the V2 that put me in search of something "bigger and better". The fact that I could get the same vape through an entire battery charge that made me fall in love with the LavaTube (and the reason I'll never give up my ProVaris).

Now that the bulk of my devices are mechs, It almost feels like I've come full circle...
