The plus side is, even if I didn't have anything to vape, I have had absolutely no urge to smoke in over a year. I don't think I could even smoke again. So I guess its not so lame.... and there's a few shiny things waiting in my mailbox now!

By lame you mean, empowered because you still aren't smoking and this vaping gig isn't a forking competition?

Might notice the topcap not sitting flush...apparently I don't own any flat top 18500s :?:

Edit: Also not sure if this thing is actually called the Victoria. Lots of places call it the Victoria, but I think "Victoria" may be the name for the brass version only. This might be "JA Mod 18500". I don't know

Hi all, although I always figured I'd look into mechs eventually it happened sooner than I thought when I won a giveaway from the awesome folks at Craft Vapery - a HUGE package of vaping gear and building tools, but the best parts were:

Satin Brass King Mod, custom engraved with the CV logo, serial #000017
Brass Kraken
Brass Monkey

I have to admit that while I'm using the setup I'm constantly worried about scratching it. :) Especially since I wear a couple of rings. I'll have to figure out how to care for the brushed brass. The dripper is built with XC-116 at .45ohms (someone else built it, so when I rebuild it I'll do microcoils) and I built the Kraken to .8 with steel rope and an XC-116 sleeve.

Here's the Precious...

May get a 26650 mod if I end up liking my quasar. Any recommend ?

Get the Super T Simplicity 26650. If I were to get one that's the one I would get. Hopefully the wait won't be long.

Haven't read any reviews on it though cuz I'm not in the market for a 26650 mod.

i'm a huge fan of the full brass hades....
can't go wrong with the super t 26650, i have used it and it is a great mod as well- the brass hades has less voltage drop in fact...

i gotta say- any 26650 mod will change your vaping experience- the battery capacity of a 26650 in amperage and mah alone is worth it IMO....
it's much quicker to respond, has less internal voltage drop even at the lowest ohms and lasts hours longer than the best 18650....I have not put my Hades down since I got it, and sometimes actually grab an 18xxx mod because the Hades hits so much harder....
