I'm waiting to be verified to be able to access the classified section. In the mean time would some of you senior members give us new guys some insight on higher end mods you see posted for sale? I am dying of curiosity as I am sure many of us are. Are quality pieces frequently available? Or is it mostly middle of the road stuff? I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas to be able to access that section of the forum.:)

I have a lot to learn. What is considered high end? Provari is considered an expensive, popular, quality mod in the vaping community but it is considered high end? The reason I ask is that there really isn't a lot of reference to compare what is available on the secondary market. Mods on Ebay are virtually non existant and craigslist isn't any better.

I never buy high end stuff. I mean never. I dont believe in throwing money at something until its good - i believe in putting in the effort to tinker, modify and collecting little bits and pieces to put together a great, personalized device, while enjoying the process.

The fact is, with the explosion of rebuildables and mechanicals lately, top quality can be had for very cheap, and it will only get cheaper once China jumps into the ring. Matter of fact, its already started.

I only buy cheap mechs from the classies - sometimes people get them from CoOps and dont have use for them so they go for pretty cheap. Some other stuff like a bottle of juice at wrong nic level, but thats it.

High end units are usually very rare and expensive. Most of them are not mass produced but rather made by a small business. Like a Caravela, Chi-You, iHybrids, other hybrids like Juggernauts, and many others. Maybe Zens stuff, but everyone has a Zen at this point it doesnt seem so hot any more.

Not much to find really, so don't have your hopes up, unless you are willing to pay $500+ for $250 mods...
Most of the hi-end stuff are usually up for trade with other hi-end gear.
But deals do happen, so it can pay to have your eyes open there. :)

Don't forget to report any ads that are seemingly "Profiteering" by clicking the Profiteer Report Form link that's posted on every ad. If it's more than 20% over retail price, then it does not fit the criteria for ECF Classifieds.

Thank you! :)

I'm glad that this is possible to do. Firearms classifieds are notorious for profiteering to happen. However, I have paid for items considerably above retail because of lack of availability, rarity, limited production, etc. I'm sure I'll end up doing it with vape related items I just "have to have"
