Nice, Bil! Here's my SS ZNA #1318 with a Sat22:

Thanks, Todai. I really love the look of the Sat22 on the SS ZNA.

Here's mine next to a 30 box. When you think about it, the DNA40 gives you Temp Control... AND 10 more watts over the 30 so its a bit more than newsworthy and in the Flask to boot!

I snagged my Flask40 on Tues last week, purchase confirmed at 4:01. They opened at 4:00.

Just received the Achilles today. #242. Damn! It's light! Almost feels like the weight of plastic but it is a strong steel. Very impressed.

Have yet to put a build on it. Suggestions? Links?

Thinking of trying ramie as my wicking material on this but am not sure if open coil or compressed micro would be the way to go. Thinking open but just not sure as I have typically used airier RDAs thus far.

Also, since I've never used one (have used a Magma and understand that with flavor drippers a little higher is better), I'm not so sure what ohm would be best. 0.8 - 1.2? I'd like to use it on a mechanical but have regulated if that would be better.

For those of you who may run into issues with your DNA40 please join us at the FB DNA-TP User Group. It is very informative where you can have direct discussions with the modders and very informative users of DNA40 setups.

Awesome information Bill. Thank you Sir! :thumb:

My favorites for a year now. Achilles and also the Prometey2. Both titanium for lightness and strength.
I have 2 of each just because I get best flavor from these compared to dual coil RDA's, and as good if not better than RTA.
These are not cloud chasers or "lungers" but if set your voltage up for fast response, the vapor is there!
(the Eclipse Ti is a dual coil with same under coil air though, but deck is too small for me)

The Achilles needs good wicking because the coil sits about 4mm above the juice source; dual wells. I like Japanese cotton but some like Rayon cellucotton for fast wicking - use a spaced coil for rayon if you go sub ohms/thick wire.

I just converted away from thick wire and sub ohms as the way to go with these single coil atomizers... that "thoughts on sub ohms... thread converted me: thinner wire gives you more surface area if you go LR (1 to 2 ohms), punch up the voltage 5 to 7v for lots of vapor and fast response, and good cooling down (whereas thick wire keeps burning at sub ohms heat levels)...
With DNA's you can get lots of volts and use less watts. +1

and of course with new Temp Control dna40 its even better... zero burnt hits and over heated juice.

Edit: if you are looking for high RPM stuff stick with dual coil atomizers and low ohms, thick wire.

One more: I have my DNA30 set up with a 2.3 ohms micro coil with 30g kanthal, set at 18w it fires at 6.7v, my sweet spot.

For ZNA owners, I spoke with Dan at HoH yesterday. They're going to be offering a service to upgrade your ZNA by replacing the DNA30 board with a DNA40 (for a fee, of course). They will be waiting a few months before making this available, though, just to ensure there are no widespread issues with the new DNA. When this service is available, it will be announced on the HoH website.

Apparently, they had a bunch of service returns on the first batch of ZNAs due to DNA board failures, so they want to make sure that doesn't happen again.

Glad they are going to be doing that, and if they offer the ZNA with a DNA 40 I might pick one up at some point.

For now, though, I am stuck with this (Vapor Flask/DNA 40)...
