i bought a riva kit about 6 months ago , for a back-up, havent used it , still new, yesterday i took it out to charge batts and check the atty's , so i can give it to mom,
the atty's tested out to be 5.0ohm and the other was 3.0ohm. when i bought the kit 6 mo. ago , it was listed with reg, 2.5 atty's.
How did the ohm's go up to 5 and 3 ohms.
anyone got any ideas?

Can't tell much from here. If they are new unused atties, they should be unchanged.

1) Check that your meter is working as you think it is by testing some other stuff that you know the ohms for. Oxidation/dirt on the leads or the atty threads can up the ohms.
2) Touch the leads of the meter together 1st, it should zero out and/or give you a reading that you have to subtract from your result.
