Hey, Folks.

Looking for leads on where to purchase high resistance, prebuilt coils.

So far, the highest resistance available at Advanced Vape is .50ohm or so. Great coils, and priced at $10.99 for a set of 10 stainless coils.

The highest available from Ohmland is .72ohm, which is perfect. Great coils, but those are spendy at $20 per pair of Ni80 coils.

Anywhere else I should be looking?

How high is high for you? Atm I’m running an aromamizer plus with a series deck (adds double coils together rather than dividing them) and I’m running 2.33ohm.
Not seeing any real advantage to it except possibly the low wattage requirement may allow me to drain my batteries down a bit farther. I didn’t realize I was buying the series deck. My parallel ones are still in the mail.
You might want to look for coils with “MTL” attached as a qualifier. MTL coils are frequently near or over 1ohm.

I use a Lot of these NiChrome 80 Coils in my RTA's.

Anyone have any leads (pun intended) on pre-koiled Kayfun type coils (opposite legs rather than parallel) in Kanthal?

Old Kayfun there. All you need to do is put parallel coil on a screwdriver and bend so they are now opposite. You lose a half turn on coil resistance.
