[h=6]Got my Highbrow RY4 and after letting it steep for about 4 days I gave it a try and WOW! Huge clouds of of what i feel is a perfect all day vape! Its smooth and not too sweet, on exhale you get that warm full bodied tobacco flavor the only problem i have found is that I am already out and need to order more! I will be trying several different flavors from Bryan this time around as im sure the everything from there will be as good as the RY4. As far as I'm concerned, Highbrow is one of the best RY4's on the market- after it steeps of course. The ONLY RY4 that is better (IMO) is Mom & Pop's RY4V2- it also taste's great but is more carto friendly
I gotta question. TIve tryed about 5 different Ry4s from various vendors and there is something wayyyy off with the Ry4 I got from Highbrow. I love tobacco juices and Ry4 is my favorite s I thought Id try this one out. But right out of the bottle it smells and tastes like straight chemicals. Completely bad taste. I got 4 bottles from highbrow and all are good ( orange de sangre, strawberry lemonade, cheesecake) except their RY4. Its un-vapable IMO.
Do you guys think I could have gotten a bad bottle? It tastes like butane fluid and chemicals. Smells equally as bad as it vapes

Im also not a "picky" vapor type of person. Ive bought around 30 bottles of juice since I started vaping, some I love, some ok, and some not very good. But i can still vape them all. The Highbrow RY4 is the ONLY bottle I cannot touch. Its weird b/c Highbrow gets so much good reviews (like this one from other people) but I cant get over how bad that bottle is.
Maybe you did get a bad bottle or something. I have had their creme brulee and vanilla bourbon bean and man were they awsome. Just expensive , especially with shipping.

Same thing with mine. I cant say it is unvapable but smelled like chemicals and very perfumey .. Tasted when vaped as a straight 555 or something similar with a lot of peanut in it .. Was very disappointed because everyone else said they loved it and how good it was. I have let it steep for 3 months and still has the same smell and taste.

It's really really really good. Requires some steeping but, damn, it's delicious.

Has to be a bad bottle of juice the RY4 I got was out of this world, Give them a call they might send you out another bottle
HBV's tobaccos are house extracted (NETs), and have a definitley distinct and unique flavor. I love HBV juices, but I could never acquire a taste for their Tobacco Exotic. (And I'm primarily a NET vaper.)
Also know that Bryan uses a cocoa liquer as a minor flavor note in his RY4 -- that may throw some RY4 lovers off.
There is nothing artificial in HBV's juices, but the tobaccos are (IMHO) generally different.

HB's RY4 is NOT of everyone. As mentioned earlier it must steep for at least a few weeks before (I think) it's even vapable. I felt the very same as you when I first received mine. It has some odd kind of citrusy taste to it, with a hint of cocoa. The citrusy part is probably what is hitting you as the "chemical taste". After steeping, the citrus ingredient nicely balances out the sweetness of the rest of the components. Let it steep for a few weeks; if that doesn't work- email Brian- he should take care of you. If that doesn't work- order RY4V2 from Mom & Pop's

I generally have liked most of the VG flavors from highbrow after letting them steep about a month or longer! Upon sniffing out of the mailbox, many juices have a chemical/perfumey scent which I hate! (Same is true for many of the vendors I've tried...steep...steep.....steeeeeep and then some never lose the perfume/chemical taste/smell.) But HB's RY4 is my least favorite of theirs so far. I saw someone post that they use a cocoa note, but that just makes me think I should like it more (loving anything cocoa, chocolate, etc.) But HB's RY4 seems bland, too dry and not much flavor at all. I've tried it at all the voltage's on my ego 650 mah twist batt and RY4 goes burnt/nasty if I go higher than 3.8 (in a stardust clearomizer which work well for me with most vendors juices at different volts on the dial LOL) My HB RY4 has been steeping exactly a month and it's going back on the shelf for another month or two.
Just got a 1 ounce from constantvapor. I have tried an RY4 from a company named High Desert Vapes and really liked their liquid. I thought HBV's RY4 would be much better so I ordered it. Since It was stocked by another vendor it was born in August and steeped plenty. I dont hate it but dont really like it either. It doesent taste like chemicals and I dont really know what it tastes like. I taste no tobacco like flavor and I cant pick up any of the noted flavors. I am sure Highbrow has awsome liquids from all the rave reviews but this one may take some getting used to. I have been vaping on and off it this evening.
