John threw in a free sample in my recent DIY order. "Swedish Fish". Not liking the candy very much, I thought I'd try to swap with someone at vapercon this weekend. Curiousity grabbed me, and I opened the bottle. A whiff and a tiny taste gave a good first impression. Took out my Phoenix atty (currently with vertical SS wick) and cautiously put on 3 drops.

WOW!
This stuff tastes GOOD! Flavor is like the candy, but tastes better! (Born-on date was the date I placed my order, and due to USPS holiday, took 4 days to cross the US) Just enough sweetness to balance the flavors. No syrupy or chemical nuances that I could detect. Just YUMMY!. Sample was 12mg, 50/50 PG/VG. I normally vape 24mg 75/25. More than enough flavor here to make the 50/50 work well, as the increased vapor gives more of the mouth feel I'd associate with Swedish Fish. Also, the flavor seems robust enough stand up to 24mg, yet still be great at 0/6mg for chain vaping all day (yes, it was that good!) Throat hit was about what I'd expect from 12mg.

This is the first non-tobacco flavor to make my 'Top-5' list. Not syrupy, not overly sweet, no unexpected taste/aroma/aftertastes, not overpowering. Just clean enjoyment.

I have been thinking about ordering this one, since I do suffer from a 30 year swedish fish addiction.

There is something about the candy that I just don't care for...maybe I'm expecting it to be sweeter? Maybe it is the texture? That is what I was thinking when I got this sample. But, after reading about others, say, not liking coffee, but liking coffee e-juice, I opened it up and tried it.

Its on my list for purchace on my next order. :vapor:
