Highest mah unprotected 18650?

I just got a vtr and I have 1 aw 18650 that's rated at 2000mah, but I work 12 hr shifts and want to have a backup. So... My question is what's the highest (& reliable) unprotected 18650? I haven't had my vtr long enough to test the waters on its battery life and having a backup is never a bad thing in my book. Sure I still have my ego but its not vv and it's only purpose for me at this point is being a last resort, I've came too far from analogs to even think about turning back! Thanks in advance.

The highest mah 18650 with a good reputation is the Panasonic NCR18650B 3400mAh Protected Button Top but it only has a 6.5 amp rating, a little low for a VV/VW APV. It should be ok if you keep it under 4 volts or 7 watts but if you crank it up you'll end up stressing the battery. I've been using the Panasonic High Drain NCR18650PD Hybrid 2900mAh Button Top in my SID and SVD and love 'em. I can get 2 days out of them between charges with no drop off in performance.

Thanks but I tend to go for a hotter vape (8+ watts) and I just ordered a pair of aw imr 2000mah like the 1 I have. I guess my next investment will be a intellicharger i4 as the cheap 2 bay I have makes me nervous and I keep an eye on it as its charging, be a shame to burn down my house because I'm too tight to buy a good charger.

nothing wrong with the 2000 AW's especially for regulated mods. good battery
+1 on the panny though i really like the pf/pd's.
