I admit it, my life can be confusing. I do sometimes go to phoenix to visit my mom (and in winter I'd prefer it over ohio). I was able to repair the dishwasher, and it's still working. My washing machine was going out at time
. I probably will get a new washer today. When the repair guy says it's more cost-effective to buy, and then stalls on giving the estimate, it's probably time to buy . It looks like washers are running around $550 or so.
I also have to go to work for an hour or so today. I got a semi-panicked call from a grad student yesterday evening, and i need to go in and help him do one thing today. sigh.

Good morning. That is nice of you CES. I took my daughter's car in to have the exhaust checked. My wife thought the exhaust smelled like there was a leak. The exhaust is fine. She does have a small leak at the valve cover but it's fine for now. I'll get it fixed when she comes home over the summertime.
Not a lot going on here, have some friends coming over to watch the football game but as usual I will be sleeping before midnight.

While I was out, I went ahead and took her car in for an oil change and tire balance. The place I use for my work car was running a special so I got it done for under 30.
Not sure how they can make a profit at $30 for a oil change. Our BMW must be $150 or so for an oil change.
And yes the Y was packed but cleared out, everyone headed out to watch the game at 3:00pm.

Going to go to a party at a friend's, even though i may not make it til midnight. We just got uber here, and i'm thinking of using it since this is a rotten night to drive
That was an online special they were running. It included oil change and balancing for 24.99 plus tax. At least that's what the manager told me. I know him and a few other guys there so he may have given me a special price since we take all of our company cars there.
Well our football game did not end well. Looks like Wiz's state team is not doing much better.
Friends just left and Ms. PT sleeping on the couch now.

Happy New Year! I watched the end of the Alabama game at the party we went to at friends house. It was fun. We played games and watched the kids play Just Dance on the Wii.
