Ive been reading about this discovering of an HIV Antibody found in the body of a 60+ year old black man.... the people working on this project have said that this antibody could potentially cure 91% of known HIV strains...

Here is the Link to the CNN report for it... Google searching yeilds plenty more...
HIV antibody discovery a step toward vaccine – Paging Dr. Gupta - CNN.com Blogs

while i think this is simply amazing and wonderful.. part of me is seriousl worried about a possible zombie invasion as the result ( see... I Am Legend), i do and i don't mean to be comical about this.... while zombies are a far fetch... the anti virus could very well mutate once it hits human population..

so there it is...

Gupta lost any respect I might have had for him when he bashed e-cigs. And, there is a small percentage of people that have been exposed to the HIV virus and not developed the infection. The antibody is already in the human population and I haven't noticed any more zombies than usual.

I'd also like to take this opportunity for a shameless plug to direct your attention here http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/zombie-vapers/

Well i dont know if you know, but there's quite a few people in Europe who can not get aids or the black plague for that matter. Theres a genetic gene that does not let your body catch these diseases. But it must be present in the mother and father to pass it to the child. If 1 parent has it and one does not the child wont get the immunity.
It has to come from both sides and that child will be completely immune to some of the most deadliest diseases known to man. They discovered this years back with a man who needed a blood transfusion in the 70's when the blood supply was infected with aids. He is still fine.

This is the future of curing aids really. imagine when your young you get your aids shot to give you immunity.
