I've been doing the ole lurk and compile info thing the past couple of days and now I'm totally overloaded, heh.

So, yeah. Hello everybody! You all seem to have a TON of info!

I'm a girl who has been a pack a day smoker for almost 24 (!) years who had decided to quit for good some time this year. The whole choice of when was taken away from me when they stopped production on Dunhill Blues in The Netherlands. (WTH! Seriously?!?!?!?!)
I had smoked those guys over 23 years and had always joked that I'd quit the day they stopped making them *headdesk*

After buying out all the supplies I could find I finally ran out. Had the last one on my birthday (25th of March) and have been smoke free since. (Holy crap difficult) I don't think I could have done it without vaping. A friend from another forum pointed in me in the right direction and now I'm a convert.

Spending all my time trying to figure out what I want and how to get it now, lol.

welcome shiny thing and you have definitely come to the right spot, I was a Lurker here for a long time before I joined and I'm so glad that I finally did the community here is awesome with lots of DIYers and experience on everything you could possibly want to know about Personal Vaping Devices. Glad to hear you have to come to the light side good luck in your Vaping venture

Shopping... My whole "Honey, I'm going to be saving SO much money now I've quit the ciggies!" is turning out to be a big fat LIE! lol
I've got a pretty basic set up so far and after a bit of trial and error with juice (100% PG was not a good idea for me :( ) I'm trying to wait till the end of next week before I order more juice.
Currently spending hours visiting jiuce sites looking at flavour and seeing if they'll ship over to me.

welcome!
That's why I have everything sent to my work. :D avoid getting in trouble with the wife.

Ha! Mine sees the credit card bill so no hiding at the end of the month, lol. Luckily my hubby is super supportive. The guy has never smoked but still footed the bill for my bad habit. He's just over the moon happy I managed to quit. I think he'd shell out almost anything to not have me go back.

Look at your local pharmacy for Glycerin USP most of them should be vegetable based I know where I live all the ones I have found are vegbased you may want to call the disributor to double check. Check out DIY Flavor Shack Ready to vape juices I am going as much VG as I can I have not had any problems with any of Dawns Juices. I checked her country list and the Netherlands is on her list (did some searching I believe Holland is part of the Netherlands) So you should be able to order from her. Make sure to list ECF as your referral on there, and if you felt like it you could put Holbie in the second box(I dont get paid for this, I'm just passionate about spreading Dawn's Mission of helping Smokers reduce the tobacco harm levels for themselves and others). Dawn has the best customer srevice and products I have personally used. Her processing time is amazing but I have no clue how long to ship from las vegas to holland.

Welcome and congrats! I don't think you'll ever regret quitting and in fact, will end up being grateful that they stopped production of your favorite brand.

A bit off topic but seeing as you are in Holland I was curious as to the attitude towards vaping over there. Given what I've heard of Holland, I would think they would be fairly progressive in their approach, true?

Vape On! :)

I'll check her out Holbie, thanks! So far I've only tried the full pg stuff from the UK (my face was covered in bright red angry spots ) Then I got some juice from Tasty Vapour at 70pg/30vg and that works much better for me. (Oh, and YUM! ) :w00t:
I was looking at trying some from MrBaker and possibly Mom and Pops as well and more Tasty Vapour but I need to limit myself to one or two places cause shipping is a killer. Not having tried much, it's tempting to go nuts and get a ton, lol.

Sorry bout the douple post, can't type fast enough, lol. I'm new to vaping and I have to say I'd never seen anyone doing it around here NGAHaze. People smoke EVERYWHERE and it's not uncommon to walk down the street and even smell the "herbals" smoking but no vaping seen yet.

Thanks Shinything! I was just curious given the efforts of the FDA here in the States. I had heard Holland permitted use of the 'herbals' so I was thinking that they probably wouldn't object to vaping ... but you never know! Honestly, I can't see why anyone here has issue with it either; sadly for the most part I believe there is a financial and/or political motive driving the efforts in the U.S.

Vape On! :)

You are 100% correct most of the anti-vaping laws are being lobbied for and sponsored by big tobacco companies. They already have ways of producing the inferior quality cig-alikes and want to skew the laws so that everyone will have to start buying their products so they can keep their money.

Yes it is tempting, If you want a lot of different flavors the most cost effective route is to start DIY and mix your own juice up. I think i forgot to mention how famous dawn is for including extra freebies in her orders. If you have any questions e-mail or call (not sure how much las vegas to holland is... lol) and she will definitely help you to find what you want.
