Hmmm ... Missing Some Parts

Just received some plastic tanks I ordered so as to have them on hand for some back-up eGo batteries. They arrived and they are JUST the plastic tanks, without the top and bottom to screw them onto.

What are those 2 pieces called? I'm talking the screw-on top to a tank into which the drip tip fits, and the bottom of the tank that also holds the part that the wick assembly thing screws into.

'Cause I have to order those separately, I guess.

*Edited to add: the plastic tanks are clearomizers. The new batteries are eGo-T batteries, not Twists.

I think that depends on what setup they are for.

Example:For something like a Kanger T3 (I don't think you can get just the tank but I could be wrong) the bottom part would be the head and the top the mouth piece.

That's odd. Are you sure you ordered a complete tank and not just the tubes? What does the invoice say?

I believe the two end pieces should be called "end caps".

I know at least one vendor (IBTanked) that sells their pyrex glass tubes separate from the aluminum or stainless steel end caps, unless you specifically order a complete tank kit.

Sounds like you only ordered the tubes, gotta be careful when buying stuff. Make sure your adding The whole kit or unit, as many devices are rebuildable.

I'm Googling images of eGo setups to try to identify what I'm missing, and I think that the bottom part I need is the actual atomizer, into which the "head" screws. And the upper part -- the "cap" then? The clearo plastic tanks should screw into these parts at both ends.

I ordered Vivi Nova transparent tubes, in some colors -- didn't realize I needed to order these other things, and the tubes just came alone. The vendor didn't make a mistake, it was my misunderstanding that the tubes of course would come and I'd be able to screw them right on to the new batteries, fill with juice and vape, LOL!

Ok so SpiritBear. You should just pick up the whole Vivi Nova device. This way you would get the base the tube and the top cap with a drip tip and normally three heads. Just make sure the tank tubes you ordered are a match for the future purchase of the whole Vivi kit. Some vendors sell "off brand" tubes that will only match their "off brand" Vivi kits so the best advice I can give you is to head back to the same vendor you got the tubes form and pick up one of their complete Vivi kits. Now, thanks to your simple noobie's mistake (no offense meant) others will be more careful when making an order online. It never hurts to ask here in the forums about a product before a purchase. A few online vendors even have a live chat window to ask for product descriptions and order clarifications.

Search on You Tube for reviews or demos on a particular device before you buy, and you'll likely be more aware of what to expect when your package arrives. Many reviewers start their video with a package unwrapping so that you get an idea of all the parts expected.

Yeah, live and learn

The vendor from which I bought the plastic tank/cylinder part, doesn't appear to carry the atomizer base and the cap as separate parts. So it looks like the safest/best thing to do at this juncture would be for me to buy several Vivi Nova Tank Clearomizers that already come complete (ready to screw onto the battery and fill with juice), and then replace those clearomizer tanks/cylinders with the colored plastic ones I bought in order to get the colors into my setup. No problem to keep the spare plain (non-colored) clearomizer tanks, I'm sure they'll get used as well, so no loss -- just need to spend a little more to get where I'm going.

It would indeed have been wise to check in here first and ask, but it never occurred to me that the parts came in "parts" if you know what I mean!
