Well I am still a newb and trying so hard to understand everything vape.. I have a few questions and comments.

I have been successfully vaping about one month. I started at 18 nic and now i am at 6 nic I was a 2 pad a day smoker for 22 years. I am using a kanger sub nano 1.2 ohms occ with an istick 50 watt and when i drain that a vapros nunchaku. I have a vision vspot 1.5 vdc as a backup. What is the diff between the two coils? Personal preference? The occ is soo much better and The vspot is sooo harsh why? I have also been told i cant pull a 100 vg juice through either and then told by others i can? Where is the truth? What is the best for 100 vg?

I find that i am addicted to getting new stuff, juices, batteries, tanks etc. The occ coil is awesome produces great flavor. Sub ohming is a huge trend but im afraid to try it because i am dumb as a box of rocks when i try to understand basics. Ohms law, correct watts and amps for charging. I feel like if i did not have all of the knowledge here i would have failed as a vapor by now. So thank you for all of the help. Thats all for now. And again thank you all for the shared knowledge it is very very much appreciated.:p

Occ is a single horizontal coil the other sounds like a dual vertical coil.
Occ much likely has a larger hole/s for the juice to get through.
You can use the 0.5Ω OCC if you have one and a mod (istick 50w will) that fires sub ohm, most to all these days should fire 0.5Ω
100vg will be hard on many coils to wick. haven't tried myself usually at the 65-70% vg mark.

1: What's the difference between the two coils?
Any coil operates at a particular wattage range.
Some coils come with the wattage range printed on them.
Some coils just have the ohms printed on them, which doesn't really tell you much in practical terms.
The vspot might be harsh because you are probably running it at higher wattage that it should be at.

2: addicted to getting new stuff.
also called shiniitis
also call GAS - Gear Acquisition Syndrome
a common ailment around here:

3: Sub ohming:
No need to go trying to subohm; if you don't try you might end up there quietly and safely in a year without the excitement.

Start saving now. By Christmas there will be a whole new batch of gadgets to get. VG is very thick which is why is takes so long to wick up to the coil. Using an RDA lets you apply the juice directly to the coil. You will also go through juice alot faster with this method and you'll have to learn how to build coils. Not to worry, it's fun and it's another facet to keep you busy instead of thinking about lighting a stinky. Most sub ohm devices can handle 100% VG. Some still may have a little trouble even if the company claims it shouldn't. Unless you have the rare allergy to PG, try to keep the ratio no higher than 70% VG. If you have to use 100%, you might look in to the temp control devices out now.
