Pvs are an excellent tool to stop a tabacco habit but thats not all it is. When i talk to people about my use i make an analogy to coffee.
Coffee enthusiasts are always trying new new flavors and different setups (latee espresso ect.) They have all kinds of equipment from thermal mugs to usb warmers and coffee cups galore not to mention all the coffee makers on the market.
Like pvs, coffee does have highly addictive stimlants (caffeine sugar/nicotine) depending on what your lookng for you can use it with or without these.
Using this analogy makes alot of since to nonsmokers and gets them away from the smoking connection. They even get to join in making comparisons about the steam and pleasant smells that dont linger.
Maybe if we use this more it will help get the issue out.of the tabacco category and just back to responsible use of mostly harmless ways to enjoy your adult life
It works for me at least

I think moderation is definitely the defining factor between hobby, and habit. I personally know many coffee drinkers who readily admit they have a coffee addiction, and "need a cup in the morning, or they can't function." type of deal. So, in a way I think it works the same for e-cigs. If you've just got to have your nicotine as soon as you wake up, need it at night before bed or you can't sleep, etc. then you are an addict of nicotine. If you could readily put your e-cig down for a whole day without caring too much about it, but you do it simply because you like to do it, then it's a hobby to you regardless of nicotine content.

That being said, I think a lot of us could drop this for a day without thinking too much about it. I would still consider myself an addict, but also a hobbyist of this. I have been changing this by buying lower nicotine liquids. Cigarettes? Well, I don't know if there's many smokers out there that can do the same.
