CRAFT VAPERS,

Some of you may have noticed that your December charge was slightly different when compared to months past. This was due to unforeseen changes in holiday shipping rates from USPS. Some CRAFT VAPERS may have noticed that their shipping costs went down, while others may have noticed an increase. We understand that this change was unexpected, and if you were negatively affected by it, we deeply apologize for the surprise. Matter of fact, we were surprised too!

So surprised, in fact, that the unexpected change threw fuel on the fiery passion that drives us here at CRAFT, and we spent much of the day today deep in the trenches of USPS negotiation. The result? We are happy to inform you that CRAFT has now obtained drastically lower shipping costs for 2015 and beyond!

We actually owe these new, reduced rates to all of you CRAFT VAPERS out there. If not for the humbling growth of the CRAFT family over the past year, we would not have been able to negotiate at all. Today, we are proud to say that we still support the United States Postal Service and that they support us. You can expect to see our lowest shipping rates ever starting in January!

If you feel that your shipping cost increased unjustly in December, please contact CRAFT CARE — as always, we will address the issue right away. There is nothing more important to us than taking care of our CRAFT family…even if it means losing money to do what’s right.

Happy holidays and vape on, CRAFT VAPERS!

Thanks, @badexec I guess I was just a little surprised. But I talked to Roxy today (she's really nice, I might add) and she explained everything to me. So I have come off the ledge since last night. Because I was going to jump, taking all my saved craft vapery boxes & stickers with me!! LOL

I saw the other comments in the other thread, since I can't post there I wanted you to know how it breaks down.

Basically USPS has a cut-off by weight. Above a certain amount (it was 15.9oz) packages are automatically bumped up to Priority mail, which for a package our size is a flat rate of $9.95. So under 5 bottles, we got cheaper 1st class rates. Above 5 bottles triggers priority, which triggers a flat $9.95 rate.

We have now negotiated much better pricing which starts next week. Even our largest box (8 bottles, spoiler alert) would only cost $6.40 to go from CA to FL (the furthest distance in the continental US). So things should be much cheaper for everyone next month.
