Just a note here: I just got an invoice from FedEx for $3-and-change plus a $10 "advancement fee" or something like that for one of my madvapes shipments. So it looks like the price you pay doesn't include border fees.

I don't know what to say to this, except this is very disappointing. Anybody else experience this too, with FedEx?

I just received my shipping confirmation with a tracking # beginning with CJ International Priority Mail - should I be expecting my package sometime this week or am I being hopeful? Ordered all sorts of parts to try a box mod and I've never even handle a soldering iron before in my life, this should prove to be very interesting :)

I'm a little disillusioned with any/all shipment methods at this time. I'm just going to check my mailbox every day or two, and then act surprised when something does show up in there. :)

Reading over that modding forum makes me want to build something. Once I start, it will never stop. Room will be overflowing with mods, have to get a bigger house and it will go on and on forever.:facepalm:

I did build a syringe mod last week, with a syringe and a clearomizer and that was lots of fun, but I had to build 5 of them while I was at it.

Now with all you modders, think of all the DIY juice you can make and try on your mod's! I love my Omega mod, sure I didn't make it, it was a gift from an awesome guy here, but now that I have my first mod ever, I am totally in love with the variable voltage thing! I swear to god, vaping the juicy clear flavors at 6vlots with my high voltage carto's from mad vapes is seriously putting me in vape heaven! Love it!

Order placed: Tuesday, August 2nd at 5:04pm
Order arrived: Thursday, August 4th at 11:45am

A day and a half to process, ship, and deliver my order and all that for $15.

I am just stunned...

:headbang::thumb::banana:

That's awesome. My express mail package is still one province over. I guess from now on, I'm requesting FedEx for all my international orders.

And I should add. I paid 25 bucks for shipping, so you obviously got a fantastic deal.

First box in the trash. I accidentally drilled the switch hole on the wrong side. Oh well, that's why I bought 3 boxes :blush:

So close! Just didn't think about soldering the wires into the battery connection BEFORE epoxying it! Needless to say I nearly melted the whole case trying to solder two tiny wires in there after the switch and everything else had been put in place. Oh well lesson learned and just as predicted, third time will be a charm I'm sure!

It's a good learning experience - quick question for you though (I asked in the mods forum as well, but I figured I might as well ask you as well :) ):

To wire the battery connector do I simply solder the positive wire in the center and the negative wire on the sides? From what I can see of the MadVapes prewired connector that's how it looks(?).

Thanks and those are some sweet looking mods!
