Um serious issue my wick is catching on fire help!!!
I'm using Japanese cotton pads they are wicked correctly snug but not tight on a .5 ohm coil I just bought these so I don't understand

Agreed, they couldn't ignite if they were wet unless you are throwing 100 watts at the coil. And the cotton should move fairly freely through the coil. If it's tight you may be strangling the wick inside the coil.

I'll assume you were not stupid enough to dry fire cotton.
WHAT GAUGE WIRE? Makes a difference to HEAT.
WHAT WATTAGE? Also affect how hot.

No they wernt dry I was using 24 Guage nicrome 11 wraps around a 2 for about a .3 we never did figure it out I just switched to cotton bacon and called it good

Nope it happened alot I just quit using them....it wouldn't catch while I was drawing or anything but I'd wet the cotton and fire to insure equal heating and boom flame
