Home from the Kokomo Fest

I spent the day in Kokomo Indiana at the fest held there today and I have got to share some of the goodies I scored.

First is a tank from Hot Vapes, these are brand new to Hot Vapes and while they had a nice selection of egg shaped hand blown tanks they only had a few of these lantern tanks...I grabbed mine early. I call it my Moody Blues tank...

Next is a glass donut tip from Hot Vapes. This is not a Trippy Top but a much heavy blown glass that does not use any o-rings. It uses a friction fit and it is tight enough that once you put it on you can lift a Mastodon Mod with a 26650 battery in it by the tip.

My last score come from Hoosier Vapes and is a very slick one piece top with matching bottom. Colors are extremely bright. They even had clear ones on hand.

Had a great time, won some juice, got a big hug from Helen of Hot vapes...was a great day vaping with friends both old and new!

Wow, you made that? I'm really impressed. See that it's in a shape of a spade. To tell you the truth.....it looks FANTASTIC. I see that you even incorporated spaces to house extra cartos, e-liquid, etc. Which is an added bonus.

The stand is merely modded...was originally an art deco smoking stand from the 30's. Those compartment were ashtrays and cigarette storage.

The last tank come from Hoosier Vapes Welcome to Hoosier Vapes - The Best E-cigs, Juices, and accesories I think they had about 10-12 of those tanks left in various colors...the clear and clear color ones are amazing and when you see one in clear you understand how highly polished they are.

Jim at Hot Hapes now has the new tanks and drip tips listed on the website. These are hand blown glass, much thicker walls than Trippy Tips and work great..,..

You grabbed the best looking tank and matching tip there was on that table. (In my opinion)

It's really too bad I'm just not a carto guy...but that would mean I got that one before you did...

BTW, it was nice to meet you Absintheur and hope you post pics of that bag when you get it done.

Yeah these tanks look amazing, Would really like to see more pictures or a vid on these...I buy from Hot Vapes frequently but havent pulled the trigger on one of these..

A tank vapes as good as the cartos in for the most part, use good cartomizers and get good vapor. In a tank the important things are the seals and these haven't shown a sign of leaking at all. I have been using both of mine...yes I bought the second best looking tank as well...daily sine the Fest and they are working great. Both seem to hold about 7-8 ml's of juice btw.

Tim has a single guy making these and the makes glasswear for his own headshop as well so delivery is kinda sporatic...get them while they are in stock, might be a while before more show up. The drip tips are rocking as well...friction fit but very tight.
