I have been disappointed in the limited number of "Savory" flavors available. I have tried
bacon and pizza, and they are actually pretty good. They are definitely a nice break from
the plethora of sweeter flavors available.
I was wondering if anyone else has tried creating their own concentrated flavors?
As an experiment, I currently have dehydrated, roasted garlic soaking in PG, and I am
wondering how it will turn out as a flavor when added to an unflavored nic base.
After one day, it appears dark, smells wonderful, and tasting the smallest drop
blows me away with garlic flavor.
Apart from filtering to eliminate particulate, any other ideas to process the flavor
before trying to mix it and test vape it?
I am concerned about spoilage of the final liquid, and do plan on keeping any leftovers in the fridge.
Any health safety issues?
It seems that this process could be used with many natural herbs and spices.
Also wondering how the professionals would do it.
Im sure someone here has been down this road.
Ill update this thread with the results...

The Perfumer's Apprentice has the Bacon and Pizza flavors I have tried (for DIY mixing yourself; they only sell the flavors).
They also carry some others: Blue Cheese, Jalapeno, Hickory Smoke, etc that I have not tried (yet)
Thanks for the tip on FSUSA. Not sure I'm brave enough to try Tuna! But they seem to have some other options.
I was mainly curious if anyone else has tried building their own concentrated flavors at home,
simply by soaking stronger-flavored ingredients in PG. I saw Saffron up on FSUSA. I may have to
try making that one myself also...
