No problem! :) I'll try to do more in the video I hope to make soon of what is actually done to make it instead of what the others have done when they just explain it and show the results after. Sound shouldn't matter so much then.

Yea, I could hear the guy on the video when he first started, then when he switched cameras...I lost him.

I have a pipe cutter, or there's one in hubby's tool box. I thought I needed the dremmel for the cut in the carto???

That's the great thing about the syringe tank mod. You can get whatever size syringes you want and cut them to whatever length you want. I would say you might want to try a pipe cutter before a dremmel though. Just make sure you put a socket just slightly smaller than the syringe inside it before you use the pipe cutter so you don't crack the syringe tube. if you crank down the pipe cutter on the syringe with the socket underneath it, it won't crack. it makes a MUCH prettier cut than you can probably hope to get with a dremmel.

You put 3 holes in the carto Iffy???? Can I ask why 3 holes????

From previous posts:

"Also thinking 'bout Dremelling three small slots (@ 120°) so that there's always a hole available for wicking for when the tank gets low."

"So far there are no leaks in any position. I tested the tri-slot carto tank by inverting the PV vertically (batt on top) so the slots were 'dry' and could tell no diff in draw or vapor."

"I finally ‘drained’ the DIY Iffy Peach flav tri-slot carto/tank to MT on the Buzz Pro. Great vaping ALL the way down. There’s not a full drop left in da tank. Great vape throughout!"

BTW, I luv hugs... back at ya!

Haha! Very nice. You left out that he has to poke o's in the | before he puts them inside the |=|.

A hack saw(w/ new blade) will also work. Thats what I used for mine and they work great. I also saw a video on youtube of a girl using a nail and hammer to punch holes. I will probably try that next. It looked pretty easy.

I also want to add, the first one I made over 2 weeks ago is still vaping strong. No problems no leaks. And I regularly fill it using a 18 gauge syringe. Ive put close to 20ML of liquid in it so far.

Yes you do. You will love it. I was skeptical at first, then I decided to try it. Now I can't stop using these.
I was skeptical also. But not anymore I love it. Now what I'm trying to decide is what size hole to make and how deep of a slot to put in the carto. I think the one I did with the slot was to long and therefor, the surface area of the exposed wicking material was more than It should be, because it does flood on me and the one with the hole doesn't. So now I'm thinking, in this case more is not necessarily better. So now i'm hoping to find the ideal hole size and whats the best slot size width and length of the slot, and I guess that it depends on how big around the blade is for slotting. I do think you can over do things and have to much wicking and have flooding problems.

Today I put one of my new boges in a tank and fried it. I tried a smaller slit and fired it too soon. All I got out of out was a nasty burn taste. I made another one with the larger slit and all is good with that one. I also filled the cart and tried it before putting in a tank. I think its a good idea to have the filler wet so it doesn't burn from cutting it with the dremmel.
