HI,
I'm new.I heard about e-cigs onHousewives of Beverly Hills (hangs head in shame).I immediatly searched the internet for more info and stumbled onto the forum and then into the Forum Suppliers.I ordered a starting kit from SmokeStik.The first day that I tried it I got a stomach ache and had vivid weird dreams that night but then something wonderful happened.I didn't want to smoke real cigs anymore.I have 3 cartons of untouched analogs and I couldn't be happier.I have since ordered a set from Pure Smoker and Bloog as well.

I'm not really interested in dripping or juicing.I just want to use a prefilled cartomizer.

The Smokesticks is the royale model and I like it but they only have 2 flavors (tobacco) yuk and the menthol which was O.K.Plus a package of 5 carts is $19.95.I wouldn't mind paying it but the tobacco flavor sucks. Does anyone know if there is a place where I can get carts that fit the royale model?

I like the pure smoker too. I bought the Ace starter kit with 2 batteries and 1 was doa.I've only been able to use the other a couple of times.

The bloog is just O.K. it's hard to draw.I have enough wrinkels around my mouth from smoking 25 years.I really don't wish to add more so I will probably send it back.

Does anyone know of a different make and model I might try?

Also how do you know if the battery is the type that doesn't explode?

For a new vaper, I would recommend the eGo or Riva 510 kit. Much better battery that will give you better performance. It gets consistently high marks from hundreds of posts on this forum. Liberty Flights has a 20% off sale going on right now. To get a good variety in e-liquid, you will have to switch to buying bottles and filling your own carts or cartomizers like about 95% of us do. i also recommend the ego, i love the way it looks and the fact the batteries last so long. theres even videos showing how to fill the carts and cartomizers, its easy.

Welcome stretchpants!..I don't have any experience with that model and you said you're not into driping,or juicing but if you would consider trying it,you open your flavor possibilities up immensely,and it's really a fun process to find which juice you like,and would be satisfied vaping all day long.There are tons of flavors out there..I'm not trying to change your mind,as i can only recommend the Joye E-go which after tons of research is the best model for "me".Congratulations on quitting cigs! That's quite an accomplishment.

Are you using automatic or manual batteries? I always found the draw harder with automatics.

I'm not sure where you can buy prefilled cartos, but someone else will chime in with that. I personally don't like prefilleds because they usually taste nasty, perform inconsistently and the flavor selection seems to be becoming more and more limited. Buying juice and refilling on your own is cheaper, has a wider variety and really is very easy.

We'll be able to help you with suggestions for a different model if we know more about your smoking habits.

If you're dead set on only using prefilled cartomizers, Vapor4Life has a huge variety of flavors and their base model battery that they sell (a KR-808) is very reliable. I'm not familiar with the models you've tried so far so I don't know how much of a departure it would be for you. There's even a Vapor4Life section of this forum if you want to take a look.

I'm having great success with the Brand Diablo (it's a type of 510 model). The low resistance Hellfire cartomizers are very easy to draw on. I got the three piece set up from them the other day. This is the Hellfire Atomizer with a separate cartridge that you fill. With the flat tips and a small battery, I can sit and puff on it like an analog dangling from my lips and just let the vapor just fill my mouth and around my face. I used to do that all the time with analogs. It's a good vape.

I was going to try those Bloogs though for kicks. So you did not like them? Did you try the "Maxx Fusion cartomizers or the regular Fusion? Thanks for any info you may provide!

Ditto on the Ego. I started with the KR808d as well and dripping is way easier than it might sound. If you check out Dr Vapors vids on You Tube he does a great job of explaining e-cigs.
