So Juist went thru the 4 pages...... Im about to get a Sig 50w vr2 and wanna pair it up with a sub ohm tank.. I was gunna get the Kanger sub but then I saw this Artic tank.

What do you guys think??? Mini Sub ohm or the artic?? I am looking for the best flavor, cloud production im that fond about, sooo I just really want somehting with really really good flavor. And will hold its flavor... Then comes How long the coils will last. I know with the MIni Sub I can Rebuild coils using the RDA deck. So Im kinda more leaning toward the Kanger, but want to hear what you guys have to say.

thanks guys

I just got my Arctic yesterday and have been putting it through its paces. I ran the .5 Ohm coil for a while and just switched to the .2. The Arctic definitely chucks the vapor but so far, I'm not getting the awesome flavor that I get with my Sub Mini with the RBA. I'm hoping that it improves as the coils break in a bit more. Personally, if I had to choose right now, it would have to be the Mini. It doesn't produce as much vapor but it's more flavorful and runs a whole lot cooler. They're both good tanks but the Kanger is more versatile and you get more bang for your buck with the RBA and an extra glass tank. The Atlantis V2 is coming out along with a mega version. There's also an optional RDA available for pre-order on eBay. Food for thought....

It takes me at least a full tank to get dense flavor. I don't like having to break-in a coil, but it eats through liquid so fast it's not a big deal. The .5Ω (BTC) is nice as it doesn't get as warm/hot, but it's not nearly as intense (overall) for flavor/vapor as the .2Ω (ΒΤDC).

I can get this for $35 at the local B&M, is it worth a spin at least at that price point? Looking for something above my current Atlantis

Worth it, i stepped up from Atlantis to Arctic the flavor is apples to oranges dude.

On a side note, i actually get that nic throat hit from 3 mg that i never got while using atlantis. I used to chain vape on Atlantis till the taste got funky and that's the cue to let it cool off. With the arctic, i take probably 3 or 4 pulls with 2.5 sec draws each and the last one will give me that throat hit and thats when i know to stop vaping.

I've been using my Arctic for for over a week and have tried both of the coils that came in the kit. I gave both coils ample time to break in and I'm getting a bad taste from it. I'm not a newbie and this is not my first sub ohm tank. I cleaned the tank, saturated the coils, primed and gave it some time to sit before I fired it up. I even started it at low wattage and slowly increased it. I've tried every airflow setting from wide open to almost completely shut down and nothing seems to help short of directly putting more juice on the coils. It tastes great for a couple of pulls then goes right back. Has anyone had this issue? I would appreciate any input......

When you unscrew the tank for a refill, try and make sure the head is snug again before reassembling the base with the tank. I am not sure how much this would affect flavor/vape, but I noticed that when I unscrew the tank from the base, it seems as if the head gets unscrewed a bit. Since I have been making sure the head is screwed down before reassembling the tank, I no longer have consistency issues with the vape (though I never had much to complain about). Who knows though what your specific issue could be?! It sucks becasue when I see people having issues I can't hep but feel bad as I have been mostly on cloud 9 with this tank -- and this is coming from someone that has always loathed tanks. I barely drip now becasue of this tank!

I'm thinking about buying this tank but In a lot of reviews I've seen this tank kills the 18650 batteries in mechanical mods in about 30 minutes. I'm gonna be using a dovpo gx200 mechanical box mod that uses double 18650 batteries. the batteries i have are vtc4's. Anyone using a similar set up with this tank and how long can I expect the batteries to last? Also how does the flavor and clouds compare to an rda like the plume veil?

The tank arrived today and I just got it going. Thus far I like it better than the Delta II. Running the .5 coil at 40W with the airflow half open. Still has that new coil taste and I believe the flavor will get better. I like the Subtank mini but I get ohm fluctuations because the center pin isn't fixed and the spring loaded 510 connector in my mods push the center pin up and thus the fluctuation.
