Thanks, a friend of mine has the Hornet on his Woodvil and swears by them. Thought o getting one myself to try but no one has them...just my luck again. :vapor:

I remember back before there were lots of rba's available that the Hornet was used because it fit the Mini drip well. It also fit in most of the wood REO's.

Lots of Reonauts used the Hornet back then.

I used to have one. Like nerak said, it was small enough to fit the Minis. Basically, it was a smaller version of the ERA. They're pretty cool, but I like the RM2 lots better. The posts are very close together on the Hornet, and the cap fits on with an o-ring. Also, I don't know about them lately, but when I got mine, it cost about twice as much as an RM2 does.

I have had Hornets for about a year and have had no issues. They were the only RBA that fit the original minis and mini woodvils with their 12mm base. very similar to the present day Divo but slightly smaller base.
I like the RM2 for the ease of build and ceramic base and drain hole so never floods. i like the Hornet for it's small tapered top cap chamber and base which promotes flavorful warm vape. Each has it's own strengths. Hornets are hard to come by as Indy no longer carries them so you need to order from China and takes over a month delivery time by mail! :(
I recently was lucky and scored one on the classys 2 weeks for $40.00 as I wanted a backup for my 2 older REOs.
