So I recently went to one of the local vapor stores and got this watermelon jolly rancher flavor which tasted awesome when I tried it. I vaped it for a bit and it was pretty good, not amazing, but definitely in my rotation.

A week or two passes and then I bring it on a longish drive in my car, and while I am driving. since I am in more of an enclosed space, I can smell the exhaled vapor after. In my experience, the vapor usually just makes everything smell better because it smells like the e-juice, however this one smelled TERRIBLE!! It smelled like sour spoiled food that was left in a fridge for too long. I had to crack my windows the rest of the drive because it smelt so bad. I could start tasting the smell in the liquid, and it almost made it unvapable to me.

I've only had this experience with one other juice, and I was wondering if anyone else had similar experiences, and if there's anything I can do to or if it's just a lost cause at this point?

Try steeping the liquid for a week or so and then see if the smell is reduced (or gone). If reduced, steep it longer to see if you can get rid of it.

Some things just have a good flavor but horrible scent. I consider those Lost Causes and put them on the Island of Bad e-liquids (AKA the Zombie Apocalypse box).

I mean, I bought it from a wholesale place so I'm sure it's already steeped enough from sitting in their stock, but I had it for almost 2 weeks before I noticed the smell so I don't think that's it.

I think it'll probably set sail soon for the Island of Bad E-Liquids and just keep vaping my good stuff :vapor:

Been there, done that as well, I'm afraid. Some liquids are just bad.

Two weeks? It almost sounds like it steeped and developed the bad scent. While I doubt very much that it's a problem, if it smells bad now and didn't before, I'd discard it just in case. There's a reason things smell bad to you...usually because they're not good to inhale or eat.
