Was talking to a guy outside a bar last night, he was smoking an analog and I had my eGo. He said that he'd had part of his foot amputated, and that the doctors said smoking was interfering with his circulation and healing of his foot, so they actually gave him an electronic cigarette, and someone even came by his house to show him how to use it.

I asked him twice if it indicated there was nicotine in the juice, and he said yes, all ingredients were listed, and one of them was nicotine.

Has anyone heard of this practice?

this would be a great way of spending the health funds compared to allocating them for nic patches :p lots of smokers will quit for sure

Hmmm, could be a great study for a med student working there. A study of how many smokers chose to quit cigs, and switch to ecigs, after being introdued to them during a hostpital stay. Esp. compared to a hospital that hands out patches. I bet it would be great fuel for our community.
