Hotspots on RDA coil builds

So when I hit my mod it tastes fine and produces a good amount of vapor, but when I let off the button it still kinda sizzles a tiny bit for an extra second. Would this mean I have a hotspot?

I am using a paragon midnight edition with the mutation x v4 and I have a 5 wrap micro coil build in it. Any help appreciated!

It takes time for the wire in the coil to cool down. The larger the wire size the longer to cool down. Also the lower the resistance of the coil the hotter it gets and the longer it will take to cool down.

If you inhale for a second after you release the button it'll help cool the coil down. That sizzling means it's still hot enough to cook the juice, which means you'll gunk your coils a bit faster

Yep. That's how I do it. If I dont, mine will actually let vapor float up out of the drip tip for about 30 seconds afterwards. Lol

or you could open up the airflow a bit more on your mutation.

by the way, a hot spot is something you would notice before you wicked the coil. It would heat up in one place first, other than from the center out.

The tighter the coil is on the wick, the more it will sizzle.
