My sense of smell has started to return. OMG why didn't someone tell me I needed cologne???? I thought I was a pretty clean person. Shower everyday, shave.. the normal drill. No way, I stink! My clothes stink, my house stinks! What the hell. I've been working almost 3 weeks straight with lots of overtime so today I said screw it and took a personal day. I'm on my 3rd load of laundry. I've vacuumed, washed windows, i'm going to start on the walls here shortly. I'm thinking of painting the place this weekend. I wish I could blame my cat....

Lol, that smell thing can certainly be a double edged sword at times, can't it. On the one hand I'm able to smell all sorts of good things again, but on the other hand I hadn't realized how many bad smells I'd been "missing". I don't know if your taste has come back yet, but that was an awesome change for me. I could even taste the difference between brands of some foods and discovered that there were some that I was eating that I didn't really like!

How funny, I can sooo relate lol All of sudden it's like, whoa, what's that!!, is that me? is that my dog? is that er..uh... you, him, her, ---"hey!! what the hell is that stinch?!!! Oh, some guy is smoking! lol!"

I opened the door after it rained hard the other night, I counted atleast 8 different smells!

I can't hardly stand to have my dog in the same room at night, she pants, and even though she is atleast 6 feet or more away, I can smell her every breath as if she were breathing directly in my face, bleh!! Last night the only way I could get to sleep is by covering my head with the blanket,

I thought I had a sensitive sense of smell before, Now, It's been 6 weeks since I quit smoking, and OMG!!. Every day is filled with surprises, some are wonderful:wub:,

and others ones, are like OMG! lol

Making some definite life changes round here, Had to let bleach sit in all my plastic trash cans, the plastic absorbs odors, oh my..

Food tastes better too. That will be a problem for some, but since I'm already fat, I don't care.

I've gained 12 lbs over the past three weeks. It's not that I'm always hungry or anything; it's that I'm just on a rampage eating everything to see how it tastes...even things I've eaten copious amounts of over my whole life. Everything just tastes so much better now.

That's what's so nice about having so many different flavors to choose from, With PV's, you can enjoy nicotine without smoking, you can also enjoy flavors without eating.

Screw cleaning. I'm moving out. This place has been chain smoked in for 15 years. Time to buy a house.

Thats my plan. I've been saving up and I'm gonna try and get pre-approved friday. When I get into my new house I need to wash my dogs more because they stink bad, never realized my house smelled like dogs as bad as it does, the smoke covered it up.8-o

I never smoked in my house, but I did in my car... how do you get that smell out of your a/c? It is DRIVING ME CRAZY!! I live on the border of South Texas and Louisiana...it's a swamp over here, not using your a/c is suicide, but when I first turn it on it gags me.. literally. I didn't smoke in my car when I first bought it, but we know that never lasts long... I never smoked with my windows up, but it doesn't matter. There has to be a way to get that smell out of my A/C coil before I go completely crazy..

God, these are some of the funniest posts I've read.
We stopped smoking in the house and decided to smoke outside or just in an adjacent enclosed breezeway about five years ago when our granddaughter was born. A few months later we decided to wash down the walls and do the windows....yecchh, everything we used to wash with turned this ugly brown. From there we went on to wash curio cabinets, pictures on the wall, etc. Ugly brown crap everywhere we wiped. It was terrible. That was the smoke film. Now, since we've been vaping about two months, the smells are showing up. Some good, some bad. And so it goes...
