he is so swamped with pm's he wont reply, but be assured you will be on the list

Thanks NIN..., I appreciate you setting his mind at ease... I just sent him a reply... he had a lot of questions... good ones that are particular to his situation... so I needed to think through a couple of the answers instead of shooting from the hip.

Just for anybody else... If you sent me a PM and I did not respond, I will get to you! If it takes longer than a day, please send me a reminder... I won't mind. I am absolutely BURIED in communications here, and the more time I spend in the thread the less time I spend in the shop!

Typically, I'm at my Day job roughly 10 hours per day, then I take the trip home which is about 35-40 minutes... eat dinner with the lovely Stacie, without whom NONE of this would be possible... then hit the shop until roughly 1:30-2:00AM... then I hit the PMs from 2:00AM-2:30AM... then the thread... lol... then to bed... back up at 7:00AM and it all repeats!

If people ask questions in the thread, and any of the Zenfidels know the answer, please do jump in there! I appreciate it, and if you get it wrong, no biggie, I'll pop in and make needed corrections along the way. for the next month or so, it's going to be crazy... once everything gets rolling, and all the products are in production, things will be smoother sailing! With the Mini, Standard, Z-Atty and Z-Atty Pro all getting rolling at roughly the same time, I have bitten off quite a chunk here... and I still have more planned once things calm down, because I have a design for a GG specific Z-Atty as well as a few other surprises in the works as well.

Thanks again to ALL of you folks... rest assured, I AM YOUR BIGGEST FAN!

Thanks for all your well thought out answers Zen~ and apologies for personally flooding you with so many more. If I knew I was taking away such valuable time of yours, I'd spend searching the forums longer

Hey thanks! You not only make awesome PVs you even make us feel special while you are at it! :) Keep up the awesome work!

So to update the rest of the Zenfidels, I am in for a Mini but I am sure I will eventually want the standard version as well :D My EgoTs are suddenly feeling cheap, primitive and uncool... wonder why :D

I still use my eGo-T and I know they do leak on occasion. What I do when that happens is change my cartridge. First I blow out any excess ejuice in the atty and then change to a new cartridge. That usually fixes the leaking you seem to be having.

You may already know about this, but thought I'd throw it out for you in case you don't know...Try a new cartridge in your eGo-T. It may help.

I really like the eGo-T for out-of-the-house-vaping. My Reo mini and my eGo-T usually travel with me.

I can't wait to try the Zenesis!

Product design change announcement:

Yes, Zenfidels... My announcement is a little earlier than I stated, and it's probably the first time I've been early with anything in recent history!

Before I get started, I want to share why this is happening. I have received a ton of questions about the material from which the Zenesis PV is constructed, and I have had several dozen people object to having a tank where aluminum comes in contact with the juice, and they have decided not to buy the PV. There is an urban legend that states Alzheimer's disease is caused by aluminum. There is no evidence that this is true, and there are literally hundreds of studies on the subject.

I have consulted many professionals regarding the safety of aluminum, and I am satisfied that it is absolutely safe.

However...

There has been a great deal of pressure to switch to stainless steel... There has been one primary reason I have resisted doing so. The easy machining ferritic grades of stainless are NOT safe for use in contact with liquids because they have lead in them which helps with ease of machining. That being said, I would not switch from a material which I believe I have done sufficient research regarding its safety only to end up with a material which everybody feels is safe, but I know it is not. There ARE tanks and PVs on the market today made from low grade ferritic stainless... But I won't be using this material just for the sake of being able to say they are stainless.

So, here's what I have decided to do... And I know there will be MANY questions, which I will hope to answer by the end of this post, so don't panic... Hang in there til the end.

The units that will ship starting in Mid February will be made of 316LVM implant grade Super Austenitic Stainless Steel... The Zenesis PV will be the first PV on the market to be made with this Bio-compatible material. Body piercings, joint replacements, bone mending plates and all manner of medical implants are made of this material, and rest assured, it is safe for human contact.

The down-side... Price.

Most machine shops shy away from working with this material unless it is an absolute requirement to meet certifications. I cannot turn this material myself, it is brutal on tooling and machinery, so I have contracted a shop in Chicago which specializes in military and medical devices. The material is expensive, and the machine time is expensive... And I feel it's worth it.

So how will it effect the sales price? Well... It needs to be a little higher. But theres good news too...By freeing my time up, I will get to work on new designs instead of running production in my shop. I will make much less per PV, but only as a result of working fewer hours... That money saved by not paying myself to machine the PVs will go to the Chicago Shop...

So now you're wondering how much more this is going to cost you... And the answer is: It won't cost you a dime more if you are on the list by January 15... People that get on the list AFTER that date will pay a bit more.

Orders placed before January 15 will be at the same price as the hand made aluminum versions, which is $195.00 for the Mini and $225.00 for the standard.

Orders placed after Jan. 15 will be $220.00 for the Mini and $245.00 for the Standard.

There are a few people on the early mini list that have to make a choice... You can stay on the early list and take delivery of an aluminum one... Or you can jump to the head of the Stainless list and wait until Mid February.... Same price. It's up to you.

If you already have a Zenesis Standard PV and you wish to exchange for Stainless, you may do so, absolutely free of charge once stock levels have stabilized which should be mid March. You may also opt to keep your Aluminum PV instead of trading it in. These may become valuable as collectors items. The traded in Aluminum PVs will be cleaned up and sold as used.

I'm really excited that I am able to get to work with one of the best machine shops in the country on working up the next generation of this PV.

There will be no changes to the Limited Edition PVs which will ship as soon as the parts come back from the engraver...

I hope this answers all the questions, and if you have additional questions... Please ask them in this thread! It makes it easier for me and everybody else to know the answers to the most common questions.
