Stainless steel mesh contains chromium and nickel. Has anyone discussed that here yet? I've been thinking about an alternative wicking material. What are the other options?

What guage of kanthol wire is recommended?

Thanks

I have no idea the answer if chromium/nickel poses any sort of health concerns (assume that's why you're asking) but what's the difference between that and mesh that's packed around some atomizers and used in bridges? (I have no idea of the answer--just asking.) I do know some people use nichrome wire for the coils which is chromium/nickel alloy (someone said kanthal gives an 'iron' flavor and thus prefers nichrome).

I don't have a rebuildable atty (yet!) but I use 32 gauge for replacing coils in Stardusts.

I run a big 7ml tank on my GLV2 with one of these which gives me plenty of room for the button. If the Z-Atty is significantly larger in diameter, I'll use one of these instead.

That´s why I´m high up in the March list for Z-atty-U and what I think is great(if I understood the Master correctly) the "accidental feature" of GLV´s gives us the opportunity to play with the coil all the way from 3 to 11 wraps or more. It will be interesting to fiddle with that one.

As I was standing for hours in dark, -10F, Finnish night, I thought about this. Zen,do you have any plans for the LillipuZens TankAtty-Section to offered as a kind of "Z-atty-Lilli" unit for us GLV:ers and others that have a limited space laterally to work with in our current go to PVs? Or did I just freece my brain...

I run a 510 to 510 short adapter on my GLV's when i want to use an atty with a dripshield and also with use for a cartomizer tank....for quite a while, i had 3.5 and 6 ml versions and never had a problem with button clearance....the Z-atty-U can be used in the same way, so there is no need for a micro z-atty made for it.

Want clearly trumps need.

As my wife fails to understand!

Oh, she understands alright...what about makeup, jewelry and shoes that get worn once a year :)

Add those up and if what gets spent on those items is somewhere near what the cost of what you want is, then you get what you want. ;)

I too am married so I never said this and if it gets brought up I'll deny it, lol.

Sure! Go ahead! Threaten a man with a good time!

Oh, wait ... you said, Squirrel ?!

I was thinking Gerbil .. never mind !!

 You aint right.

I'm not even sure I'm going to make the LillipuZen as a production device! It's still up in the air!

Perhaps you will take requests for them (or begging)? A 15270 wouldn't be too bad really and what a great stealth or errand running pv. Obviously you have a lot on your plate right now...but maybe down the road we can talk about the possibility of this baby hybrid?

Hope you're doing well Zen~. I know your'e busy busy busy...don't forget to take care of yourself.

I am sure many are waiting on pins and needles to see if some have been shipped out today.

Hopefully USPS flies like the wind and gets them to you before the dreaded weekend cutoff :)

I have sunday off and am looking forward to a million excited posts, pictures and hopefully some videos too! That and a billion posts about wicking materials and how to wrap coils for Zen.

Why do I feel like he is NOT looking forward to those. I am guessing the new coil wrap video will be posted before everyone receives them. :)

That's funny shai... It's what my gf says about me...lmao

LOL bro...... I've been married twice for a total over 25 years...I never have and never will claim to know how they think....once you think you know what's in their minds, they throw a monkeywrench in it somewhere, teaching you yet again that you'll never know what's running around inside their head......

I am a woman, married to a woman and raising a little baby woman. On my best day I barely understand any of us. It's not just a man thing, I assure you.

And on topic: Are folks planning to post photos of their newly received Zenesis gear in this thread or in the social group...or both? I want to see those photos!

If they don't know then how can we know or understand how their mind work. I would never even try to figure that out, cuz it's impossible. I think trying to get in heaven is easier than trying to please a women. Hehehe:toast:
