I seem to lack sympathy for people that have no atties or cartos or are running out in anticipation of the arrival of the Zenesis! ... You really SHOULD have a back-up device and supplies in case of a tragedy... what if your PV is stolen? There's a million reasons to have extra stuff, and no good reason to not to.

Sorry if that sounds harsh... but I make the Zenesis PV, and I have cartos, attys and several PVs that can be used in case of emergency! Heck, I use them on occasion just for variety!

Ok, it's update time... And it's a great update!

All of the parts, screws, quartz and cases are finally here and final assembly is well underway. Once the screws arrived it became obvious that I had some fitting to do and a custom delrin spacer to make to deal with the ability to fit both the AW 1600 and 2000 MaH batteries in the standard, and to make the mini fit ONLY the AW IMR 18350.

The Delrin adds a little time and figuring out the size took a bit of time initially...

But...

The first 10 are ready to roll, and I believe I can get another 10 done tomorrow night, and the balance of the febbies over the weekend.

The bad news for nearly everybody in the thread is that I'm shipping based on order date... And I sold the first dozen via You Tube and on Vapers Forum before my supplier status was approved here, so with the exception of Kcos the first dozen are going to folks not in this thread.

But back to the good news...

Some ECF threadies will have theirs shipped Friday, and if everything goes well all the Febs will be shipped by Tuesday!

And the better news... Marchies.. Hold on to your hats...

It's looking like I'll be shipping the march PVs starting towards the end of next week, much earlier than anticipated. The attys will come later in the month. The biggest hold up for the attys is some parts that are coming from a local shop.

So, I've learned some lessons here and made some mistakes that will never be repeated...

1: I can't handle the stress of having your money if your PV isn't ready to ship. This has been a miserable few weeks for me because I hated having to deliver the news of delays when I already had your money.

2: even the best machine shops are terrible with deadlines, and they will tell me what I want to hear instead of what I need to know. I've learned to never tell you when I will ship until I have finished product, and I will never ask for money again until I have the product ready to ship.

I'm sure I have learned other things in this process, but at the moment, these are the most valuable lessons.

So that's our update.. The wait is nearly over and the PVs are really gorgeous... I can hardly wait til you get to try yours out!

Thanks for the update Zen~ and remember... Hindsight is always 20/20!

I am just going to have back-up Zenesi' :) a better way to go.

That's my plan too, ob. :) I won't have 8 Zenesi *ahem*, but I will have 2 and a Z-Atty-U ....then I hope to get a mini in June. I'll have backup Zenesi for my Zenesi. I'm still keeping some tanks/cartos too though. Just for emergency purposes. You never know what can happen. Plus, like zen~ says, for variety OR to remind myself just how bad cartos were in comparison. ;)

Yea see that just made me really really happy to hear, the faster they go out, the sooner he is done with Feber's and the sooner he gets to the 16th order on the March list. Is anyone one else getting giddy about this?

And I wonder if it is possible to file paper work with the house of hybrid's advisory board in order to petition to have my position on the list modified because I was going back and forth with Zen~ a few weeks while we learned how to communicate with each other, so I could convey my desire to place an order. I am sorry if it took me so long to speak the current form of Zen~glish, but I don't know if it is fair that I am penialized for being from an alternate Zenesis timeline.....anyway back to my corner.....

your not alone it took me a bit speak Zen~glish too :)

I wholeheartedly concur with having multiple PV's/backups. I'd tweak if I didn't have multiple options. I have 9 PV's right now and I plan to always own units that use atties and cartos. There are plenty of times I'll go places where I wouldn't want to take my "nicer" PV's - boats, hikes, bars, concerts, and sporting events just to name a few. On occasions like that I'll just take a Roughstack because they're cheap and I wouldn't cry if I lost one. There are also times when subtlety is important which is why I've kept my Volt and my Go-go. Adaptability is key!

Oh I was playing about getting pushed up, lol but the fact that I know what number I am on the list betrays the fact that it has often crossed my mind whether or not Zen~ could be bribed. Sadly I had already gave him everything I had to offer that he was interested in, (I paid.......) and he is completely incorruptable (so did many other people.....) so I am waiting patiently with everyone else (none of us are patient are we, we are all to excited to contain our enthusiasm) I know that Zen~ will continue in a completely professional manner (Zen~ have I mentioned how intelligent you are today?) There is no way to bribe him at all that i have figured out. If someone has a clue, please by all means don't share it with us, I don't know if I can debase myself any further then I already have.

So yea I jest, I hope Zen~ knows I am joking, if he isn't and he sends my PV I will feel guilty the whole time I am vaping away................Which he won't because he is honest......damn people who follow the higher moral code, ok granted I am the same way, but still man I want a Zenesis so badly....................................OK I admit I have a lot of toys coming, but man the Zenesis is the backbone of my arsinal................

We all knew you were kidding. at least I did. We have the same sense of humor :)

I actually did NOT try to bribe him. He is all for honestly and fairness which I really respect.

Do not get me wrong, I would like mine early however :) Not gonna happen......
