Yes, using a red battery and nipple in first. I just got this camera from my mom and no idea how it works. the very bottom coil is touching the post/top of the top, though (if that made sense). In other words, it is not wrapped all the way around but sticking out.

photo please lol

Is the wire wrapped around the short screw on the top of the PV?
Is the wire also wrapped around the mesh, and wrapped around the long screw?

Sometimes I will leave a tiny bit sticking out just to make it easier to change the wire.
Does the wire appear to be one long piece twisted around all three places?

Edited to add:
It may be broken, you may need to wrap new wire.

If it's already bolted in the bottom, cut the extra wire off.

My wick is a little bent. It is not touching the center post or the bottom. Just wondering if this is O.K. So here's a ....ty cell phone pics for now. I'll take some good pictures tomorrow at my friends house, he has a Canon EOS 5d Mark. Also, it will be filled with juice.

Got my standard in the mail today.

I haven't even vaped it yet, but I can already tell this APV is amazing and very well machined! I spent a couple hours just holding it and staring at it, marveling at it's beauty. The weight of it feels great and you can tell it is a very well machined APV, using the highest quality materials. The threads are PERFECT.

THANK YOU ZEN~ !

I have to wait until tomorrow to vape it because the 18650's are still on their way from 310vapers.com. They shipped out Monday so I am hoping for tomorrow, Friday the latest. I only had the Provari Mini up until now, so I had no need for 18650.

pictures or it didnt happen ;)

The only blue county in Texas!
UltraViolet - I apologize if somebody already suggested this (I didn't read all the way through) - did you sand the battery top and the screw in the switch? It could be something just interfering with the connection. I had a point where mine was barely hitting and somebody said to sand the screw (the big one in the switch) - I didn't think it could possibly help but it was actually the problem. Hit amazingly well after that.

Thanks stevo. But yeah it is just BARELY off the bottom, I am going to nudge it up a little. You can't see the top of the pic but it IS even with the center post. This is one of Zen's wick and coil so I am sure the wick is cut at the right size, just need to move it up a little, don't think I will have to cut it anymore.

Jonny, the wick is probably fine, but if it is bothering you, you can fix it very easily without bothering the wick or coil especially since you don't have any ejuice in the tank. Take the top cap off. On the side with the coil, push the top o-ring toward the other side. You can then just grab it and carefully ease it off being careful not to touch the coil or wick. Carefully twist the tank up and off. Fix the wick, put the tank back on, ease the o-ring over the coil and wick, and push into place, and then just replace the cap.

Murdock had a cleaning video which showed you how to clean the tank with the wick and coil still on the Zen. I don't have the link handy, but look thru the ZenNation forum. I believe it also was on YT........
