This noalax on the connector is puzzling me....could you post a pic of the switch showing/ describing to us where exactly you put it? could it be bc of a non-conductive coating on screw that could be sanded off instead? I just can't wrap my head around how that would help the performance of the PV other than making the switch thread to the body smoother.... Is it just a zenfidel version of "rub some dirt on it"?

It'd be nice if zen weighed in on this, but I doubt he'll be on the thread while saving the country

Did you still have juice in the tank when you changed the wick?

Yeah, but it was mostly from the juice that had already leaked out and the juice that comes on the provided replacement wicks. As I said, this will get easier and less messy over time - learning curve and all.

Is there any kind of adjustment to the bottom switch? Seems like I have to hit my switch just right for it to fire. Like the screw almost needs to come up just the tiniest bit. Wanted to ask before I start messing with it.

I think viscan and OB have said a Lil noalax on the screw helps... Don't know how or why, but I think that is what they were saying a few posts back

Just unscrew the bottom switch, you will see the screw holding the switch together. When you push the button, that screw connects with the battery and that makes it fire. The Noalox helped. My Zenesis just would not fire. For HOURS I messed with it until I dabbed on the Noalox.

The reason I even had Noalox is because I owned 3 mechanical Reo Mods. When a mechanical Reo mod wouldn't fire, the first thing recommended was to use Noalox on the battery/connector. Voila! The Reo fires. Same thing worked with the mechanical Zenesis. Noalox is an anti-oxidizer...maybe some sandpaper would do the same thing? I don't know, but the Noalox fixed my problem.

Zen~ already knows about it. He saw my issue posted in the Group forum. He was thrilled with the easy fix. :)

I wonder if Dielectric grease would suffice? That I have - Noalox, I don't.

Where do I find the Group forum?

not intentional mixed in carto ry4 was already in there added blue berry\ juicy pear from perfume apprentice

Ah, yes...the carto mix. I use to do that all the time too. Came up with some pretty nasty flavors. Then I decided to switch to all tobacco flavors and mixing those in a carto wasn't too bad.

It's going to be so nice not having to deal with cartos all the time.
