Sorry if that sounded confusing but yeah youre definitely right the heresy was a super cool auto zen w/ a 510 connection (i hope its ok that i say that :/ ), which i thought was an awesome idea but he also had a SW w/out a tank, that had a 510 connection instead, i first saw it at the booth, then later i saw (i think) ob using it w/ an orion while chief was setting up a coil for my gf.

Very cool looking w/ the orion btw. does the 510 add any length to it, because w/ the orion it looked close to the size of the reg. SW.?

np bro...this was the first time I found out about the SW option for 510...I havent talked w/ mike about anything but the sidewinder I have coming. he was quite busy at the time getting things ready for VC and really didnt have time to talk...so peeps that heard new info at VC got it as a bonus when some of his friends didn't know...

Yeah youre right i think they were the 2nds and 3rds which had a different button, btw the 2nds and 3rds were still 100x more pretty than any other pv i have ever seen/held. It was interesting to see what mike actually considers 2nd or 3rd or a "scratch" lol, says very good things for his qc on zenesis' for anybody who is wondering about weight, the cobalt, blueline and mfa were very light, not heavy at all, while the SW is a bit heavy but extremely solid feeling.

yea already missing out both VC 1 and 2, and VB/VF last year, I an NOT missing out VB2 @ CHi-town this coming April :)

VB @ NYC in March, not so much...especially if you need ta pay at the door to get in, let alone still thinking about the crud dealing with last year's fiasco behind it and VF running at the same time :p

ZAtty problems. I posted yesterday, and still believe that the Provari and ZAP make a nearly perfect APV. I am having a repeated problem with ZAttys, though. I had with the ZAU and I'm having it with the ZAP. I wrap a new coil and set it up, dry burn, the whole nine yards from the Zen video (Provape). It vapes great. These are the "nearly perfect APV" times. Then if I walk away from it for a couple of hours, it won't fire. My Provari tells me I have an open circuit. On several occasions, I have wrapped a new coil and the process starts over. This time I fiddled with the coil/wick assembly. After wiggling/pulling on the coil/wick assembly, checking resistance and state of charge on the battery a few times, it's like the coil "woke up". I have gotten pretty good at wrapping coils. I'm pretty sure the coils are okay. I've never had this problem with any of my hybrids, Zen or other, only ZAttys. I don't know. Any ideas?

It could be crud build up on the wick/coils.........just a guess.........

The reason I was thinking this is that VV will generate more heat, depending on the setting, for a longer length of time as the PV will kept things constant. More heat would create more evaporation of juice which would mean more juice flowing on the wick and coil, which to my mind, would cause a faster and larger build up of crud........when you fiddle with the wick/coil you probably knocked some of this loose which made the coil 'wake up'.........non technical thoughts from the non electrically inclined.......LOL

That makes some sense. The wick is a new Zen wick installed yesterday. Hasn't had much time for crud to build up. When the Provari thinks it's an open circuit, it won't fire. Checking "Ao" and "Cb" on the Provari forces the thing to fire a little bit. I guess it feels like jump starting a car. When I force it to fire, whatever is stopping it "breaks loose" and it starts to fire again. I know it's something I'm doing set up wise. I've had it with two devices.

The Zen wicks have been soaking in vg ever since they were made. A new wick you made and oxidized yourself would take longer to build up initial crud.........
